Another MAGICal Adventure - WBTA 2015

Well I am determined this time to do as much lol Had so much fun last time! I can't wait

Thanks! :D

Wow there seems like so much to remember to do on embarkation day! I bet we will sleep well that first night :)

I do have another question - we are going to drive from Miami to WDW after the cruise, any tips on best place to rent a car? Will any of the companies pick us up from the port?

We are from the UK and have never driven in the US before - I'm pretty nervous about driving on the right!

I don't know which rental company would give you the best rate. I'm debating whether to rent a car myself or take the Megabus, which stops just a couple of miles from my dad's house in Orlando. I'd google "rental cars miami" and see what comes up. Be sure you get the rates for dropping off in Orlando. The first rates that pop up are usually for pick up and return in the same place. Contact them before you book and ask if they have a shuttle from the Port of Miami. I imagine most, if not all, do, since Miami is such a huge cruise port. For me, the bus is cheaper and convenient, because of the drop place, but a car would be less of a hassle as far as all my luggage!

I can't for the life of me think what it was called. I also went to a story telling activity and Princess Tiana told the story, I was with my daughter but she lost interest and went off playing and I carried on listening to her. That was good, got to make a special leaf bookmark. I have got to admit I did a lot more activities last year than the previous ones. I was very impressed with myself.

Oh just found it! Marvel Avengers Assemble. I think I assumed it was Becoming Iron Man with another name! I did the Storytime with Belle and that was quite sweet but missed the Tiana one too.

Thanks, PFlamingo! I will have a search for those ginger capsules. I'm mainly concerned about my 2 year old, and I don't know if he could take them, but I will get them just in case!

Yeh that's the one. Becoming Iron Man sounds good, shame Tony Stark can not be there in person :rolleyes1

Hi all,

My family and I will be joining the cruise as well.
I'm Barbara, 30 years old (just for another week, so will be 31 when we sail) and my husband Jowy (33) and daughter Quinn (2) will join me on this TA cruise. We are from the Netherlands.

My mother and her husband will be on the same ship.

I am excited about the FE, so I will sign up as soon as I reach 10 posts :)

This will be our second Disney Cruise as we did the 3-night Bahama cruise last year October.
Obviously, we needed more after that!

I am looking forward to cruising, meeting you and participating in some of the events.

Welcome aboard!! :welcome:

We had only done two 4-nighters before our first Transatlantic. We had such a great time! I'm getting really excited about this one. Hubby is sitting this one out, so I'm going with a friend. I think it's going to be a great cruise.

Thanks Pflamingo!

I am pretty sure my marriage is over if I go on a Disney cruise without my husband

So, post #2, just eight to go....

You can get chewable ginger, it works the same wasy. That is what my daughter (9) uses when she is feeling sick in the car.

Thanks! :D

Originally I was going to drive using the MouseSavers "secret newsletter" Hertz code. If you sign up for the newsletter, there's a link in the newsletter to Hertz with the code filled in. It would have been $50.00 total to rent a car from the Port of Miami to MCO - I was going to use Magical Express to go from MCO to WDW. But then someone alerted the group to American Airlines rates to fly from MIA to MCO. Since it's just me, the price of flying and the time it would save pushed me to fly rather than drive (this included looking at the costs of gas, the tolls for the Florida Turnpike, etc.)

I hope this helps.

Ok, I missed out on the answers I got due to work :-(. I got it now and will be posting 10 reply's to be able to PM Pflamingo :-)
Many thanks :-)
