Another July 4 fireworks post...

Notes:
* we have APs
* onsite July 1-18
* 4 kids (infant to 9 yo)
* We currently have a BOG lunch ADR for the 3rd (also have another later in our trip), and 'Ohana breakfast and (early-ish) dinner on the 4th

We have a PV CL Poly room for July 3 and 4. We'd like to make use of the room and resort amenities while we're there. However, we also love the reg Illuminations. Should we try to view either Illuminations or the MK fireworks from inside the parks on either July 3 or 4 (I know MK will be insanely crowded on the 4th)? I've seen footage of the 4th fireworks from the Poly - should we maybe try to view the MK fireworks from the Poly one night and from inside the park another? Is there anything else special going on at either MK or EPCOT that would make it worth our while to leave the Poly on either day?

1. It will be massively busy July 3, too.
2. If (IF) that's what you want to do, that'll work. (MK July 3, Poly July 4.)
However...
3. Instead of viewing MK fireworks again from the Poly...

If you like regular Illuminations, you should love the 4th version. The Fourth of July add on is amazing!

I would opt to see the MK fireworks on the 3rd. You could still go to MK earlier for your ADR, take in what you want/find reasonable for waits, then head back & enjoy your resort and view of fireworks from there.

FYI...Illuminations on the 4th will most likely be at 10 pm if that isn't already noted on park schedule. I didn't go last year, but have been several years prior and they've always been at 10 pm.

"The Heartbeat Of Freedom" is the "tag" that is done immediately after IllumiNations on the 4th-it is AMAZING-I call it World War 3!lol.

TREMENDOUS amount of fireworks in the Finale!

One cool thing about watching "Disney's Celebrate America-a Fourth Of July Concert In The Sky" from the Poly is you get to see the "Mirror Fireworks" and the 360 degree fireworks-really cool.
