Another 'Eating Around The World' thread:

While visitng WDW next month, a group of us want to snack/eat around the world. We have all been there quite a few times and want to try something different.
On my friends' arrival day, we planned on eating lunch at Earl Of Sandwich and then head over to Epcot to snack/eat around the world before Illuminations.
I am asking for everyone to complete this statement- "Whenever we visit Epcot we always have to stop by _____ and have (a/the) ____ because _____".

For example "Whenever we visitEpcot we have to stop by Biergarten and have the buffet because I love their meat selection."

lol Just an example, but you get the picture.

Ok, let the good ideas roll out!

Whenever we visit Epcot we always have to stop by England and have the fish and chips with a Bass because they are the best fish and chips outside of home.

Always stop by the French Bakery for a Peach Tart, just because they're so good!

--Norway for the rice cream because it's so creamy and delicious
--France (Boulangerie) for the Napoleon because I love Napoleon's and they make a great one and for the Ham & Cheese Croissant because they are delicious and a fabulous deal for a light meal
--America for the funnel cake because my DD7 can't see a funnel cake without wanting one!
--Marrakesh for their lunch special because it's good food and good price and a wonderful setting

My husband says England for their fish and chips, and I say Tangierine Cafe for the lamb and chicken shwarma platter! Excellent food, and excellent value!

We actually may be eating at the WS several nights during our trip due to the amount of new things we want to try.

I know that after the Food & Wine festival (we went back in October), I have become a lot more excited about trying foods from all over!

Please keep the ideas coming!!!

Norway for the school bread- my favorite food at WDW.

Morocco for just about anything, it is all good.

Norway for ANYTHING - everyone raves about the school bread, but I've tried several things here and it's ALL GOOD! I usually get a Kringla, but the strawberry cheesecake is to die for too.....Or try the Smorr Buxx candy that you can buy in the gift shop....yummy caramel....

If you're trying to do things at every country, here's a few that are not represented yet....if you want to America, get the apple pie. I personally haven't tried this yet, but want to - in Japan try the bubble tea. Or get one of there many kinds of candy to try, that's fun too.

Norway from sweet pretzels, rice cream and school bread. French bakery for an eclair for DD. China for eggrolls for DS. Morocco for baklava. I like to cruise around the world collecting desserts to eat in the room later.

What is school bread

^ It's called "Skol Bread" in Norway and is a cream and coconut treat. I believe "Skol" means farewell in Norwegian. The Kringala Bakeri at Epcot calls it "School Bread" and it's sort of like a donut filled with creamy custard and topped with coconut. It is absolutely delicious. It's very unique and I love the cinnamon based dough used in making it. Reasonably priced too! (How often do we say that at WDW?) Great to get to go for a nice breakfast or snack the next day.

This is on my list too at Epcot along with Caramel Ginger Ice Cream at the Lotus Blossom in China, Cadbury candy in the United Kingdom, Cheese Soup in Canada, and Fettuccine all'Alfredo in Italy.
