Hi everyone,

I think I need a book: "Renting a Car For Dummies!" - that's me! I feel like I need a wall chart to keep track of codes and rates!

$425-ish (intermed) Alamo/Nat'l - final estimate with taxes etc
$290-ish (intermed) Dollar - final est, seems like a great rate, right? Full & Premium not much more than the intermediate.

Details:
P/U - 12/10 MCO
D/O - 12/24 Ft Myers (RSW)

Do you think 4 avg adult size people (DH, me and DS17 & DD15) will fit ok w/luggage in an intermediate? From WDW we are going to visit family in Ft Myers (about a 3 hr drive) for a few days, and then driving to the Ft Myers airport which is near them. (I don't have a good feel for newer vehicles, I drive a 76 Grand Prix and a 73 Montego!). :rotfl:

Thanks for your help as always Dis,
-mary

Please be sure to account for any additional driver fees- we use a Costco code (usually) or *********** with Alamo to ensure no fee. There are time's they've tried to charge an additional driver fee for my spouse and other times they haven't even tried (irrespective of codes).

If you have alot of luggage, an intermediate could be a tight fit (they seem to keep downsizing what's an intermediate). If the price difference is something like $30 total I'd probably go bigger.

Thanks for your help! Hopefully full-size will be ok! If my teens are too close, they will probably get on each others nerves, so a bigger vehicle is surely the way to go. I may sit with my daughter in the back seat, now that I think about it anyhow, since my DH and DS are tall.
