We will be a party of 8 - four adults and 4 kids. I imagine the kids won't do a ton of sitting and I'm sure the adults will be in and out with the kids/enjoying the slides ourselves. Can we split the cost of a cabana at either of the water parks and share one basically among the 4 adults with the kids rotating in and out some?

Oh wait - I see they are for 6 not 4. So maybe it wouldn't be a problem or are they picky about that? Anyone know? Thanks!!

Not sure if hey will let you book extra people in advance. I think I read something a few years ago hat you could add extras when you check in. You do get wristbands, so if you try to just sneak the extras in, they might get hassled.

Another idea: we booked an umbrella & chairs set up a few years ago at TL. It is about $55- 60. This is a beach umbrella with 2 lounge chairs & 2 sand chairs. We were assigned right next to a cabana to the right of the wave pool. We had the wrist bands to access the area & towels & a locker were included.

Perhaps you could book a cabana & an umbrella together & request they be together. The CMs won't question who is assigned to which setup if you're all together. Then everyone will have towels & be "legal".

Last year we booked one for 2 adults and 4 kids. During the day, we were joined by and additional adult and 2 additional kids. The additional guests did not receive towels, mugs or water, but they did stay in our cabana and ordered food and drinks. There were no questions, or problems. The kids were all teenagers so they came and went throughout the day.

We had a cabana this year and we had 10 people. We had a choice of an extra charge per person over the 6 allowed or do the umbrella and chairs for an additional amount that was less than the price per person charge. You might do better with the extra person charge. I don't know if the extra charge would include 2 more refillable mugs or not. We had 6 refillable mugs, a cooler full of bottled water and all the towels we needed all day and a small lock box to use for wallets, phones, etc. We opted for the umbrella and chairs which included 2 lounge chairs and 2 of the sand chairs. This was partly because of the cost and partly because a couple of the pepole wanted to stretch out in the sun. The attendants were super and it is one of the best times we have had at TL. We had the wrist bands for the cabana on the adults so they were able to order food and drinks if desired. The umbrella and chair setup does not have that option. We also left a nice tip because the service was great. We were in the area near the ice cream stand. I would suggest you make a reservation ahead of your trip if you are really serious about it. Our trip was in April and my son had reserved the cabana and then we were lucky to get the last umbrella and chair set up.
