Another AP ? please

So if I buy our AP's on line
1. can I do the e-ticket option,

then can I:
2. not have to go to the ticket booth and go straight to the turndstile,
3. use the e-ticket to check in at PP for our ressies before we go to the park and get the actual AP's?

and finally:

4. Am I correct that the AP date starts the first day we use them not when I purchase them?

I will let others answer the 1,2,and 3, b/c all I have is "I believe so" (assuming you're talking about disneyland.com), but #4 is definitely true, it starts with when you first use it.

In answer to the question about the aps for the first several questions.
Yes you can use E-ticket and no you will not have to go to the ticket booths.
And you will be able to use your e-ticket to check in at the PP.

We did all these things but at the GCH so it will be very easy for you.

I am considering getting an AP this year. If I do e-ticket, so I have to go and get my picture with the hard copy the first day I use it?

When I got my AP, I got it online. I just took the print-out to the regular gate where everyone goes in. They scanned it and told me to go to the building to the right (I can't remember what it's called) after you pass the stroller area and go under the tunnel at the beginning of Main St. They will take your picture and give you a plastic ID card. It's very quick and easy. Have fun!!
