see allears.net for prices or is 25%-30% for value 35% moderates and 40% deluxe last I read. we are also passholders but found best deal for us right now is the Magic your Way with tickets and free dining and keep our annual pass vouchers for another time

and the free dining promotion is running now and can find that thru the dis and any WDW web site for dates out into 2011.

we did that at first but then the room discount worked out to be cheaper..saved up 125.00

If you're not within the 45 day mark you may want to change your tickets to a 2 day and keep them and activate the AP vouchers and get the addl. AP benefits. Just something to consider.

Did anyone else notice that AKL a Deluxe Resort was put with the Values resort discount of only 30% What's the deal with that? Not to mention they keep changing the discounts throughout the day, I saw POR and CBR at $715 for 6 nights and then an hour later they are at $902.

They don't change the discounts during the day - I assume that was an availability issue. Probably no longer available with the discount.

Nope! I am sure availability is the key but it keeps bouncing back between two types of AP discounts the "Room Only" which gives you the discount off for all nights (weekdays and weekends)and then a modified AP discount "Q1PASSHOLDER01HM8 " that only gives the discount for week nights and rack rates for Friday and Saturday. I have been following this for 3 weeks now checking 3-4 times a day (sad I know). I wanted a Mod resort but 3 weeks ago none were available for Oct 4th - 10th and only AKL savannah view for Deluxes. A few days ago POR became available but only water view and did not have the full discount. Then this morning POR standard view and CBR standard view was available with the full discount and AKL standard view full discount. Since my sister is coming with us and helping pay for the room we went with AKL standard view. When I checked back a couple hours later POR and CBR were back up to the more expensive discount. Which is what they are currently.

I don't get the AP discount when the weekends aren't included. Almost not worth it esp. for the deluxe resorts! I totally agree. I was first ticked that AKL was discounted like a value resort at 30% and then I find that some of the discounts did not include weekends. At least for the week we are going there was A LOT not available from the beginning. Also; the AP rate is always last so it makes it difficult to get good ADRs. I am going to have to really think about whether it is worth renewing next year.
