Annual Passholder discount and watercraft

When we're at Disney we always rent a pontoon at least once during our visit.
We have annual passes this year and when reviewing discounts on Disney's AP website it shows the following.....

Marina Boat Rentals
Save 30% on regularly priced BOAT, bicycle and Surrey Bike rentals at any Walt Disney World Resort marina. Offer valid for Passholder only. Subject to availability. Certain age restrictions apply (excludes Specialty Cruises, Holiday Event Specialty Cruises, the Grand 1 Yacht and Surrey Bike rentals at Disney's Boardwalk Inn).

THEN, it shows this......

Sammy Duvall's Water Sports Centre
Save 10% on parasailing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and personal watercraft rentals at Sammy Duvall's Water Sports Centre at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

What is the difference between "marina boat rentals" and "Sammy Duvall"? Is Sammy Duvall at ALL resorts or just the CR?

I guess the main question I have is.....can I save 30% on renting a pontoon??

Sammy Duvall's is just at the CR. I don't remember them having pontoons. It looks like you can save 30% on a pontoon at the others.

Just a pontoon or a pontoon with a captain for a wishes cruise?

I don't believe the 30% applies to fireworks cruises.

We have rented many, many times at the CR......just for an hour or so.....sometimes a pontoon, sometimes a whaler for a change.

It's a definite that Fireworks cruises are not included in the discount offer.

If it's just a matter of us going over to one of the surrounding Resorts to get 30% off then why wouldn't we do that?

Thank you! I already know that at the CR (Sammy's) it's only 10% off.....was wondering about the other resorts (that are not run by Sammy's).

I'll see if I can find a number for one of the other marinas and call.....was just wondering if anyone here knew the answer first.

Some resorts and Downtown no longer offer marina rentals. The third party company running them was not making enough profit and the DTD construction eliminated that marina - so they cancelled their contract.

"As of March 2 these watercraft are no longer available at Port Orleans Riverside, Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, and Caribbean Beach." and Downtown Disney (Coronado had stopped awhile ago).
