Can you activate your annual pass with just your driver’s license and magic bands? I converted our tickets to an annual pass over the phone and they are linked to MDE but I never received a certificate. I was just reading about the activation process and noticed that they mentioned a certificate.

If the pass that you purchased is in your MDE, you have a virtual certificate. When the CM scans your MB, they should see the certificate under your profile and will process the AP activation. Your driver's license should be sufficient unless you somehow need to provide proof of Florida residency or DVC ownership.

I just upgraded 3 day hopper to AP Friday via the phone. (DVC) cast member said I would get an email, but never did. It shows up in my DME under my name, and I was able to book some park days.

I will just go to a customer service desk in 2 weeks with my ID, magic band, and DVC blue card. They should then activate the AP and give me a card in return.

I didn’t get an email either but I wasn’t initially concerned because the passes were linked to MDE and I was able to make park reservations. We are leaving tomorrow so I was looking up the process and panicked when a certificate was mentioned.

I guess I didn't consider that since we aren't sure where DVC is going with that. They all expires soon.

You will still have a digital membership card. Just before you leave for your trip, log into the member website, pull up your membership card, and save it to your phone as a photo or in the notes section or whatever your phone will do. When you go to activate your new AP, show that digital card.
