I know we can buy annual passes at WDW, but does that mean we can get the dvc discount there too?![]()
Also, if we already have 6 day base passes that have been unused can we just pay an upgrade on them to the dvc annual pass?![]()
thanks!![]()

There is usually a guest services location inside the parks where upgrades can be done.If you've gotten the 6 day tickets at a discount, use the first day on them and then upgrade. This way you get the face value rather than the price you paid for them!![]()
You can upgrade on the way out rather than the way in.
We do this on arrival day at the Epcot International Gateway which is only 5 minute walk from BCV
DVC AP prices:we need to buy a couple of passes this august, (too big a group for dfil's gate pass), how much for adult and child ap's now?
We bought discounted tickets from Undercover Tourist and upgraded them to Annual Passes with the DVC discount at City Hall in MK. (7day park hoppers with water park fun and more option, upgraded to standard annual passes with DVC discount.)
I thought we'd get full value for the tickets since we used them for admission into MK, but when she scanned them she could see that they were bought at a discount and only gave us the discounted value. I told her I thought we got current value for the ticket, but she absolutely refused and kept saying, "But you bought them at a discount." Not only that, but she tried to overcharge us by over $200 because we hadn't used the park hopper feature yet, so she said we didn't get credit for that. I had to argue with her and explain that even though I hadn't park hopped with them, I had paid the $50 per ticket to park hop. It took over 30 minutes for her to figure it out, void out the transaction and start over. She initially tried to charge me $377, and I told her I had figured it would be about $165. After she redid it, the total was $166.07. I was pretty satisfied with that, so we paid and got the heck out of there.

BTW, it's crowded here! Maybe due to the buy 4 get 3 promotion? We've never experienced crowds like this in January!

You can upgrade used tickets as long as you do so within 14 days of first use.I thought you could only upgrade unused tickets, no?
