So I have the new Incredi-pass AP. I am trip planning for a trip for my son and I. He has tickets, I have the AP and all we have booked is a hotel. I have so many questions.

I thought I had seen somewhere they have "special" magic bands for AP holders, is that true and where would find them? I am trying to get our magic bands ordered.

Anyone know when/if Disney will release room discounts for July and beyond? Our trip is in August and I am hoping to add a day but without knowing how much the room will cost, I am not sure if I can.

My AP has the memory maker option (or at least it should, I only have a voucher) but MDE keeps asking me if I want to purchase memory maker. I know that I have to activate my AP in DIsney Springs when we arrive but will memory maker be available right away? We fly in later in the day so I was using the first night for Disney Springs to eat and walk around, get my AP activated and so on.

I am hearing rumors taht they may bring back the dining plan which I will love, how does the dining plan work for a passholder? Will I need to purchase "new" tickets for my son since he already has tickets I would rather not have to buy any more.

Last, we will be there during food & wine (I think it will be going for a couple weeks when we get there), I know that passholders get exclusive items, where do I find those?

I hope that was all my questions.

You won't see the annual pass MagicBand option (you still have to pay for it) until after you've activated your new pass.

We have APs. I just checked in MDE and didn't see any special AP magic band, but they might be available somewhere.

Not sure

It should be available after you activate. Ask the cast member when you go to activate your AP.

I haven't heard anything about the dining plan returning.

I think there is an AP magnet somewhere but I don't know where it is.

I hope that was all my questions.

I haven't heard that rumor so can't speak to the validity of it. But answering based on the Dining Plan as it existed pre-covid -- an onsite room reservation was required, but you could book a "ticketless package" of room+dining. For "free dining" you would need to book a full package with a minimum length ticket (2 days? 3 days?) for each of you.

1. There are AP specific magic bands sold in some locations of the parks. You just have to look around, ask CMs in stores. You will get the option to purchase a discounted MB online in MDE after you activate your AP. But those are the same ones anyone with a resort stay can order, not AP specific. You will look in the Magic Bands & cards section of MDE for that.

2. No one really has any idea about discounts. The last 2 years has been unprecedented & normal discounts haven’t been happening. Best advice is to just keep checking. When discounts are released, there has been limited availability.

3. Memory Maker should be available as soon as you activate. But check with the CM to make sure your AP gets set up correctly to include it.

4. Haven’t heard that rumor but as @lanejudy said, you could previously purchase a ticketless package. Free dining previously required you to purchase a ticket for each member of your party. Recently the ticket had to be for a specific number of days & include the park hopper option. If the dining plan comes back, there is no telling what form it will take, how much it will cost or if it will have any other requirements, even for a paid option.

5. There is usually passholder specific merchandise for purchase in the main festival store, items like glasses & shirts. There has also been free items like the magnet already mentioned. And a few times there were bigger things, like a cutting board or glass. You were required to visit Epcot several times to qualify for those items. Those things are usually announced pretty close to the start date & are usually talked about in threads about the F &W festival. So again, just have to keep an eye out for info later. I wouldn’t expect anything more than a magnet this year tho. And the pick up location for that has varied quite a bit, so again, just watch for more info later.

Dining plan (if it returns in the same form) would have to be booked with a WDW room as part of a "ticketless" package.

I know there is a tee shirt for passholders at the current festival, not sure how you get it. It's kind of a normal thing, so they will probably have one for food&wine.
