I am somewhat new to the boards. I did go in 2012 but having a baby seems to have bogged down my memory. so I'm planning to go in 2016 still. My question is if I can buy the annual pass already now?(is it like tickets-no expiry and will activate when you first) I also see that th price is 299.99+tax. Is that a good buy?

Also, if I buy the 2day park to park with 1 free day, would I be able to add another day when I get to the parks? How does it work? Will I be charged the difference between current price and price I paid?

having babies does that to you.
i had 4 of them.
boys, lost my marbles years ago.

yes, you can buy the ap at today's price and once you first use it a year from now,
it will be good.
it activates the first day you use it for the parks and will be valid from one year from that date of first usage.

Thanks @macraven :)

Sorry I wasn't clear, the original price listed on Universal's website for the preferred pass is $334.99+tax and it is reduced to 299.99+tax right now. Does this deal come up often or is this just right now?

I'm not looking at the site but, I bet you are looking at FL resident rates.

OMG, you're right! I totally bonked out on that! My brain is really mush! :sad2: How did I miss that! Thanks @pcstang

I guess I'll stick with the 2 day tickets plus 1 free.
