Anniversary Surprise

When we go to Disney we are going to celebrate my bday (chef mickeys and CRT ) and we are also celebrating our anniversary.. I am trying to think of something to do for our anni while we are there????? I was thinking about trying to take him somewhere nice to eat the day we are at Epcot but we have never ate there so I am not sure where to go??? Any other suggestions would be greatly appriciated!!! I had looked into gifts of a lifetime but we will have 2 small kids with us so I am not sure that would work too well for us.. I don't know what to do!!!

We are having dinner at Coral Reef at Epcot for my dh birthday and I've secretly arranged for a diver to hold up a sign that says Happy Birthday and a customized menu with pictures for him. You could do something like that.

I am in the same boat, celebrating my birthday and our anniversary (well a week earlier than our trip, but we are celebrating it there). I want to do something special since we got enagaged at Disney. Thankfully my mom is coming with us, and we can go alone...we don't get that often, let alone while at Disney!

skw44- that is what I was hoping to do but they don't have anything available for dinner the day we are there... should I just do lunch???

mea1179- aww how sweet that yall got engaged there!! we went on our honeymoon there and we ended up coming back with our own little minnie.. yep got preg on my disneymoon!!! So I thought it would only be fitting to celebrate while we are there!! I am already ordered the cinderella slipper at CRT and having Happy Anni to my Prince Charming on it!!

Yes, try calling back to see if they have a lunch time. I'm not sure what time the divers are there, but if you get an lunch appointment, call Coral Reef and see if the divers are there for that time. Sometimes Debbi is able to change the time of your ADR a little to accomodate the diver.

My DH & I went to Narcoosee's for our 10th anniversary. It was wonderful! He also had Disney floral deliver me a gift basket full of wonderful stuff. It included a tiara (which I wore to dinner), a crystal glass slipper (which we had engraved), and some other stuff. The best part was the card. It read "I'm so glad that the slipper fit 10 years ago. You'll always be my princess."

I'm not sure what all types of baskets that they do, but there may be something for guys too. We did have a problem with them delivering it a day earlier than they were supposed to though. (Of course, on our first day there they delivered a 'Welcome Home' flower arrangement late.)

I did an anniversary surprise through Gift's of a Lifetime and it worked out well, though we had my inlaws to watch the 3 kids. Jane and her crew were easy to work with and provided a couple of alternatives. Tell them that you have 2 small kids and I am sure they will take that into account. Good luck!

ok so I finally got through to Debbi and she said that a request had been put in for a diver.. and I am emailing her some pics for our menu.. I want to find a really sweet poem to have put on there as well.. that is my new venture!!

I am also going to order the slipper desert at CRT and have them write Happy Anniversary to My Prince Charming and do the "champagne toast".. I am such a stickler for romance!!

If anyone has any good suggestions for a poem please let me know.. I am not very poetic so it would be awful for me to write one!
