Anniversary Restaurant Help & Question re: Kids

We are traveling in May and will be celebrating our anniversary while at Universal. Having basically never been there as it exists today (it's been 20+ years) - what do you recommend for an anniversary dinner? We are pretty flexible on meal preferences in general, but will be 3 adults and an 11 year old, she's pretty mature for 11, but is still 11, so we probably don't want anything super stuffy/fancy.

Also - is there somewhere where I can find the rules/times on when my minor daughter can/cannot be in certain restaurant/bars? I feel like i've seen posts here and there indicating 21+ after a certain time, but I'm not sure where i can find that information. Not planning on bar hopping, but want to make sure if I book a later meal, that we aren't running afoul of any rules.

This may not be the most helpful response, but hopefully other people will be able to provide better answers. If you don't want super stuffy/fancy, I would eliminate the Palm at the Hard Rock Hotel as a possibility.

If you prefer to stay in Citywalk we like Vivo for Italian. Its not fancy and can be a bit loud but its tolerable and a good menu selection. If you want to head to a resort Amatista at SF is really good and its lovely inside esp if you can get a window seat or sit on the patio if the weather is cooperative. Bice at PB is good but overpriced IMO Mama Dellas would probably be a better option.

I would also recommend Vivo if you like Italian. If you make a reservation mention it's your anniversary.

Big Fire has good options. I think the 21 rule only applies to unaccompanied 21 year olds. Maybe the Bob Marley place and PO’B have an over 21 rule after a certain time.

Rising star has various age restrictions depending on day of week. Red coconut adult only

Last I heard, unaccompanied kids under 18 on weekends are escorted out @ 9 pm F, S & S

just make sure that the various venues are still serving dinner if you want to dine later

People do dress up (as opposed to park clothes) there.

Food there was delicious...but they brought me a NY Strip as opposed to the Ribeye I ordered. Mentioned it to my server, they sent over a manager...but he insisted it was the right cut. Kind of strange, but it was delicious. Still found that strange though.

strange indeed, two cuts that typically look quite different. At least it was tasty!
