Ok need a little help here . My wife and I will be going on our 4 yr anniversary . We have been to disney many times both with our son and by
ourselves. The help I'm looking for is doing things OUTSIDE THE PARKS . We know about character meals and thats on the list as well as D- TOWN DISNEY . We will be stayin at AKL . We will be there Sun thru Tues. Feel free
also we are not oppose to leaving Disney Porperty we just want to see if we are missing out on something.

I must tell you what DH and I did for our anniversary one year. We went to one of the "pick a pearl" places-the one we happened to go to was outside the Y&BC, but there's also one at DTD. DH chose the oyster (and thus the pearl), while I chose the ring setting.

have dinner at Raglan Road in Downtown Disney.

have you palyed mini golf at either of the two course on Disney Property?

Take a carriage ride at Port Orleans.

have you seen Cirque Du Soleil?

Outside of Disney, Gatorland is different LOL! Also downtown Orlando for nightlife.

If you have a car you could drive out to the space center on the coast, definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before

splurge on a couples massage followed by a relaxing day at the pool or signature restaurant

Take a walk over to the wedding chapel on the Grand Floridian's grounds and ask her to marry you all over again.. ..... :flower3: then take her to DTD to pick a pearl and buy her a ring... Oh, don't forget to wear the Mickey & Minne wedding ears....
then head over to the Beach Club and get the Kitchen Sink...

Thank you guys for ideals and suggestions . Keep them coming is all i can say .

Maybe the sunset safari (which includes a dinner at Jiko) that they have at AKL?

If you have the opportunity and more importantly - transportation...

I would suggest going over to the Gaylord Palms hotel. You can easily spend hours walking around their glass enclosed atrium. The atrium is divided in to several themed areas.
They have several restaurants and quite a few boutique style shops.

You don't say when you're going, so if it's during pre-Christmas time - you have to go to the "ICE" show they have there. It's amazing

For our 22nd anniversary a couple of yrs ago we went on a carriage ride at Ft Wilderness, booked it when Wishes were going off so we could see them from the carriage ride.....

had dinner at CRT and got a VERY nice gift from Disney! Two champagne flutes with CRT etched in them!
