Anna and Elsa FP confirmation

Today is an EE day so I will ask whether they hand them out early or not. Any other Qs while I'm there?

Cutest photo ever! Thanks for sharing :goodvibes This info will be super helpful for so many people!

The EE question has already been answered (with photographic proof). Not only are return passes handed out, but the visit times may be within the EE hour.

Meanwhile, a visitor reports elsewhere : "Today they ran out of tickets at 10:35AM."

I can't even imagine what this will be like when more people know about it.

Yes, they were handed out at EE, the CM I spoke to said the last one was given out at 11:05 so same general neighborhood :)

This is great news! I'm glad they are doing this. My dd has already been talking about seeing A&E but honestly, we wouldn't bother if it meant spending a precious 3-4 hours in a line. This way, she can definitely see them!

If they have a park ticket, they need a pass. So my husband and I needed one each, but my under-3 child didn't. They need to scan your tickets when they're handing out the passes and when you return to actually get in line.

I overheard a CM at the DLH gift shop today explaining the process to a woman who was buying some merchandise and telling her to try for tickets on the EE day. A FP photographer in DCA yesterday asked me about it, as well, when he overheard me chatting about it with another mom. So, it does sound like it's - at least unofficially - something most CMs know about now.

Good info. Thanks! On a related note, when obtaining the FP, does every member of the party need to be there or can one person with all of the tickets be the lone FP runner?

Does anyone know if both Anna and Elsa are now there all the time? In the past it seemed like Anna was usually there, but there were windows when Elsa wasn't there.

We are going this Friday. I was planning to show up with DD an hour before opening and follow the guys with the Anna and Elsa signs. Is that still a good plan or are they not leading people back in a line now? Thanks!

Excuse my questions, just getting a handle on A&E.

Where exactly is the meet and greet? Do you get you fast passes there where they are?

Love that they are doing this, was so dreading rushing o the cm with the sign and following.

Thanks!!

I think this is a great idea.
I will never understand how families can stand there and wait for hours. It's just nuts (to me), and this level of interest in meeting them is insane. Good for Disney finally implementing something to make this easier for people.

I also hope the rumor of them being at Ariel's Grotto is true. Another great way to meet them without having to deal with the wait. It will also create a lot more interest and bookings at Ariel's. When we walked by several weeks ago, there were a lot of open tables outside.

Yes, every member of the party will need to be there to get the FP or what the CM called return time tickets. Our FP runner frantically called everybody in our party when she found out.

When we were there yesterday, both Anna & Elsa were there. The FP only had 20 minutes window and ours were at 9:40, then we waited some more of course! We were done by 10:30.

So did they still do the line up/walk thing before rope drop or is that gone now and it's just a dash to the FP? Was the FP in front of where the meet is?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to work out a plan to get DD in to see them on Friday...

I'd love to hear more reports of how quickly the return tickets are gone each day.

The hot new item for Disneyland is here. Get that FP for the Frozen gang first. I like the idea, actually, as it will prevent someone in the family from standing around for 2-4 hours. The downside is that with an attraction like this, Disney has no need to add anything else to the park for a long time. Looks like Captain Eo is here to stay! :worried:

That's GREAT news! :)

Just your reminder that one man's trash is another man's treasure.

When I was there on Wednesday they had everyone line up at the hub, then moved the entire line into Fantasyland. There were cast members with Anna and Elsa mickey head signs at the far end of Main Street waving people toward the hub. Then we all followed them through the castle and lined up around the Village Haus restaurant waiting to be given the FPs (there is no machine, just two cms, one who scans your ticket/AP and the other who hands you a corresponding FP.) Now I went on a non-EE day, but they still often open Main Street about half an hour before the official open time, so get there early! We were let in about 9:30 which is when the line began forming at the hub, and we were allowed into Fantasyland at about 9:45ish.

Also I did NOT have to have all members of my party present to get the return tickets (I got all 5 by myself with just their APs like a regular FP.) This may change of course so it would be a good idea to have your family in the general vicinity or to at least ask the CMs when you are lining up for the return tickets whether you all need to stay.

Also yesterday (our last day) I talked to one of the CMs handling the line and she said it had been really successful and it looks like they will definitely be keeping it through at least the holiday season. Take that with a grain of salt of course, as it could just be rumor, but it's encouraging to see that it will probably be around for awhile!

Regardless of whether it was EE or regular entry, every day I asked they were gone between 10:30 and 11:30. There's simply no good way to guarantee getting them unless you get there early :)
