Anna and Elsa FP confirmation

We are here today. Park opens at 10 (no early entry) we were at the rope at 9:25. They began letting people in at 9:30, walked all the way down to the Hub where they had the line to get Anna and Elsa FPs forming. At about 9:45 they let us into Fantasyland and they began handing out the FPs just before 10. I was about 30th in line and got a return time of 11:10-11:30. The passes are NOT linked to the system. I'll be back later and tell you how long the actual wait was. Let me know if you have any Qs?!

Thanks for the update Sydnie! I hope they keep this through October. It will make it so much easier for my DD to meet Elsa & Anna!

I think it's unfortunate that they're handing them out during MM if they run out that quickly. But I'm sure that if they didn't a crowd was just form there for that hour anyway.

The hot new item for Disneyland is here. Get that FP for the Frozen gang first. I like the idea, actually, as it will prevent someone in the family from standing around for 2-4 hours. The downside is that with an attraction like this, Disney has no need to add anything else to the park for a long time. Looks like Captain Eo is here to stay!

Wish they had done this earlier this past summer. Too bad we're not going back any time soon. My girls would've loved to meet Elsa & Anna, but I just couldn't muster up the energy to get in line early.

I have no thoughts or opinions about Captain EO. But I completely disagree about Disney not adding attractions to the parks because of the popularity of the Frozen meet. First, there cannot be that many people attending this meet and greet because the capacity is so limited. It's not on everyone's radar. Second, the demand for these Characters will soften over time. Third, I just don't see Disney not adding attractions because of a meet and greet.

Ok we got back at the beginning of our window (11:10) and were in with Anna and Elsa at 11:35, so a total if less than 45 mins waiting time You must bring your ticket/AP AND the FP to enter at your return time btw.

I think thats unfair about the MM and other early entry thing what IF the passes are indeed gone because of the the early access.

Yes they were. However I initially got 5 FPs for our 5 APs, however last minute my sons decided not to rejoin us and went on rides instead . I was fumbling around trying to figure out which FP matched which AP, but they assured us it didn't matter if they correlated directly, just that they could see each AP had been scanned earlier when the tickets were handed out.

I would guess there were maybe 300-500 tickets total? When we came back at 11:10 they were still handing out FPs with a return time of 5:10-5:30 but when we came out at 11:40 ish they were out for the day.

Just plan to be there on a non MM day

We were one of the last groups to get passes today - 6:30-7pm return time. We lucked into it while walking to the carousel! One of the CMs said it was the 2nd day trialing the passes. I think we waited maybe 15 minutes in line. Of course, my son decided that the backdrop was more interesting that then photographer, so we have several lovely pictures of me making funny faces and the back of my kid's head!

Are the passes available during MM/EE or do they open it up at normal times? We leave in 9 days and I am trying to figure this out for our daughter....we were hoping for her to meet A&E the day of her BBB makeover so that is why I am trying to find out when the passes are available to guests. We are staying on site so EE is no problem if need be.

Not sure about the EE - hopefully someone will report on that tomorrow. I get the feeling that they will be tweaking it - they interviewed me and at least 1 other family about the experience. As an example of how quickly they went, like Sydnie said, the parks opened at 10am with no EE and I think we got ours right around 11am (which was for 6:30-6:50, actually, I misremembered the end time before!). According to the crowd sites, today was a 1.1 for DL and waits for most everything for the rest of the day were only 5-15 minutes. So, gone within the hour on a relatively uncrowded day!

We really lucked out. There's no way we ever would've met them without the FP, so I definitely like the new process at least!
