What does club level offer that I would not get booking a regular room? Are all Club level rooms on the top floor? Are all club level rooms savanna views?

No, they are not all savanna views. Some are partial views of the pool. The ones that have a savanna view are partially obstructed by the overhanging roof.

CL has food and beverage offerings that you would not get with a regular hotel room. They also offer concierge services to book your FP+ and ADRs. The lounge at AKV overlooks the lobby of Jambo House and occupies the 6th floor.

...and they are virtually impossible to book. There are (5) 2BR lock-offs in the concierge category...that's it. You have to be insanely lucky or own at AKV and walk your reservation if you plan to stay in a CL room. The 1BR is the "easiest" to book, but even those are snatched up right at the 11-month mark.

What's posted above, worst view rooms at the resort, you get daily room service, a lounge to sit in, some food to eat no big deal IMO and drinks from the drink cooler. Worth doing once if you can.

The lounge being just feet away. However, the lobby noise is loud and savannah meh-ok.

We've only done club level once at AKL, but saw 5 nights available for our F&W trip, so grabbed it to give it another try.

Does anyone know what beers they offer in the lounge?

TIA! :)

I only chugged Tusker when I was there but here's a screen shot of the menu board at the beginning of the year.

By request is that all day or only during afternoon and evening? :-)

They kept the beers in the backroom and not out in the small fridge in the lounge so it's pretty much whenever someone was around to ask :drinking1.

Clever they are.

Or could it be due to minors?

I would think the last remark regarding minors would be the real reason. Otherwise they wouldn't care if the beer empties and doesn't get refilled between staff visits.

Last July, the Poly CL lounge had beers in the fridge every evening, if you wanted one any other time you just had to ask.

We booked Akv club for 3 nights Jan 2017, 8 nights May2017 and 4 nights Nov 2017. These were studio rooms. The studios appear to be value size and have no good views of the savanna. The lounge is great for breakfast if it’s not too busy. However, some people go into a feeding frenzy and I was almost knocked over and elbowed while trying to pour a cup of coffee.
We had no problems booking at 11 months but we only stayed there in November because there was no availabilty at the BWV.
As far as booking reservations and fast passes it depends who is on the desk.
Don,an older gent with white hair was totally useless.
Would we stay there again..my dh and ds vote no. If we are going to stay at AKV we would book a savanna view villa. We could order beverages from instacart. If at AKV we want to be able to sit on our balcony and see the animals. The food and drinks are not worth it. The reason this is the only Dvc resort that offers club level is that there is no way they would be able to fill these rooms. We only had turn down service one night during our stay in January.

That's been pretty much our experience also. Don't get between people and food, you may get injured. :crutches:

We liked to watch the guests fill plates to take back to their rooms.

If you’re willing to pay $50 per day per person minimum of 3 days you can get access to those extra FPs @ 90 days.
