Just a heads up, Florida has a lot of snakes in their natural habitat, I have seen snakes at all parks and also the walk way between Grand Floridian and Polynesian. All of them have been the black garden snake that is not venomous
I really wouldn't worry about it! We all have stories of seeing snakes different places, but there aren't any reptile houses or exhibits with big boa constrictors or anything like that.
I think Rafiki's Planet watch is the only exception.
I have a snake phobia. I have easily avoided seeing snakes at AK. (Have also been lucky to never see one in the wild in Disney parks too). My daughter has a bird phobia. That is a much bigger issue than my snake one
Oh God....glad I didn’t see a post like this until I returned from Disney. I never saw a snake there, but I have to say it crossed my mind, particularly in AK. If I saw one, I would never return, even though logically I know that they have to be there.
It’s something primal for a lot of people. Evil snakes have been feared and vilified since Biblical times. Wasn’t it a serpent who offered Eve an apple?

Snakes are more shy than birds. They hide in grass, plants, sticks, etc. If you don’t poke around too much in places say like, your toddler’s Fisher Price plastic grill, you may not encounter any.
However, birds are everywhere 24/7. You just hope to never have a physical encounter with one.
Speaking of which, who else saw the photos of that high school kid being taken down by a Canada goose on a golf course?
