Going in May…is there a show or parade?

No parades at DAK. For shows, you have Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo.

There are 2 stage shows, Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo. There's a live bird show, Feathered Friends in Flight.

No parades. There are a number of performers in Harambe, drummers and dancers.

Characters and bands go around in pontoons ocasionally. Not sure what that’s called

You can look in the app to see what entertainment is offered and a description of what it is.

- open MDE app
- click upside-down teardrop at bottom of page
- change left filter to the park(s) you want to know about
- change centre dropdown to 'Entertainment'
- change right option to 'show list'

Most if not all entertainment that is offered now will be offered in May unless it's closed for refurbishment.

The app can be used to learn much of what is offered in each park.

If you are referring to the seating that was used for Rivers of Light, I don't believe that is being used for any show now, although the cavalcades on the river do pass by there and can be watched from there. The boats come fairly near the seats. They do a little loop around there.

This was the theatre I was referring to. I’m disappointed that nothing will be playing there.

There was a parade many, many, years ago. My niece and I rode Goofy’s float in the Jingle Jammin’ Jungle parade when she was 6. She’s 25 now so that was many years ago.

Very sad... they got rid of the parades and the nighttime entertainment.... And they wonder why AK gets a "half day park" reputation....

I think the AK and Epcot parades disappeared for the same reason - safety. The parades completely occupied the walkways in both parks, and there were no routes around them for people who wanted to leave or needed to leave or needed to get to first aid, etc. I loved those parades, but we were trapped by them more than once.
