Animal Kingdom Help!

The breakfast to us just seemed crowded and unorganized and the character interaction was not as much as with other character meals....food was ok but I jusst felt cramped and rushed.....the waitress was not very good, the characters basically just seemed to walk by and not really spend anytime with the kids....we usually go in early December not like it was the busiest time of the year....that one experience has kept us from going back....but we always do Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys.....love them both

We love Animal Kingdom. We did Donald's Breakfastosaurus for the first time in December and we liked it. We had a late ressie (10:10) and and food was good and character interaction plentiful. We always head to the safari first thing in the morning as you are more likely to see the animals before it gets too hot (of course, next time we're there, we may have to head to EE first). The Lion King is a must-see. We also enjoy Flights of Wonder, the bird show. I think you can definitely do AK in one day (or less).

I think you can easily do AK in a day even with going on the big rides and strollling down the trails. We don't do Kali ( not that we don't like the ride itself, we just don't like to walk around wet all day, no matter how hot it is) but we do Lion King, Safari, Pocahontas, Tarzan (now closed apparently), Bug Show, Dino, and both trails and we are still usually done by 3 or so...Keep in mind the park closes around 6 anyways so thats really not a long day. You should have plenty of time. We do both trails as well. We have found that we don't have to run around like chickens with heads cut off to see and do everything. and honestly , if you do miss something, save it for next trip. Its not going anywhere and by not doing every single thing on every trip, it will keep it "fresh" the next time...We don't do the breakfast either. We only do one character meal per trip (ususally dinner at Chef Mickeys on arrival day-which is non park day for us). We eat BF in our room and that alone saves a good hour and a half or so to put toward park time instead.

My must see for AK are the acrobats that perform outside of the Tusker house restaurant. They are Amazing. Nice to watch while you are eating or grabbing a Tuscher from the Dawa bar.

We were told to do the Safari first. The animals tend to hide as it gets hotter in the day. We usually spend the day at AK.

WE LOVE ANIMAL KINGDAOM
this is my families 2nd fav. park ( mk being 1st)
we went there 3 years ago ( next trip in 8 months) and did 2 days at ak. we didnt see everything in one day. i have 4 kids and we did rush around. imho i think there is alot to see and do that cant be done in one day.without truley rushing around. breakfast was awsome to us. the food was really good and lots of variety. this year we are doing 3 days at ak. all people are different and what they like but this place is awesome !!!!! Have fun!!!!!!
