True - the only straws that are allowed in Animal Kingdom are the paper ones inside the parks.

Also, like with the other Disney parks, it's highly encouraged (not banned but, well, Disney is being nice) that no humans feed their human food to any animals in any park.

The same rules as any other WDW park applies (no coolers, glass bottles, etc.), with the exception that there are a few extra rules at AK due to the animals and pro-conservation culture, these extra rules include no straws of any kind and of course no feeding the animals anywhere, but then again the no feeding animals rule technically also applies anywhere else on WDW property..

Animals still get people food. Those thieving gulls at American Pavilion Epcot snatched half an order of fries. Some mustard. Not so happy gulls.
