Thanks for the codes, guys! We are trying to keep our gates open all the time unless we are checking for another town to visit.

mbgreen - if you are comfortable with it, add mine too and if I am on and she is playing she can let me know and I will sign off and let Annika sign on or just play my character. If your daughter doesn't have all of the fruits, she can come and pick them all at our town. Tell her she can take as much as she wants and make as many trips as she wants - we haven't been picking fruit lately and all the trees are full.

Our coconuts are all down on the beach, we have an orange grove down by the beach by the west side path down and our apple, peach and pear orchards are all near Tom Nook's. Cherries (our native fruit) are by the Town Hall and the Gates and scattered around town.

RealGrumpy - I can't think of a phone sound....there is the ding-dong sound of mail, the whooshing sound of presents, the chiming of the bells on the hours, the "music" from when people are talking, etc. Does it happen every day in your town or just occasionally? I'll have to listen when I play today!

For everyone: If you come to visit and you don't have the fountain yet, bring an axe and try tossing it in ours to get a silver or gold axe. We haven't had much luck yet - there doesn't seem to be any right way of answering her questions. Annika's alter ego Nick got a gold axe on his first try but Annika and I have tossed dozens of axes in that fountain and come up empty handed! You can only try once a day. We try to leave a spare axe by the fountain so if you come without, feel free to pick it up and try it out if it is still there! If she happens to give it back, please drop it and leave it there for the next visitor.

Also, please take a look at our museum - our aquarium is doing especially well and we are getting closer with our dinos. The art gallery is pitiful thanks to all the forgeries that Redd sells us.

FYI on February 23rd there is a Festivale - you need candy (in sets of 3 of each color) to give to the peacock by town hall to trade for special furniture. It takes a LOT of candy to get the furniture (sometimes she asks for the same color of candy several times) so if you time travel, do Easter, go to the next day briefly, then go back to Easter. Do that a few times so you have LOTS of candy saved up in your dressers/wardrobes for Festivale and Halloween!!

Hey Keri we've learned that you can't throw axes into your fountain if your gate is open which means that you can't have your visitors do it. it stinks.. We've tried..

Your timing is perfect then in terms of Easter and Festivale! That Easter furniture sells for a TON so if you go back to yesterday and do it all over again to collect more candy you can really rake it in. LOL!

For Festivale, you don't need to time travel to get more candy. All you need to do is talk to your town animals. They will all ask if you want to play a game with them. It could be rock-paper-scissors, flip a coin, soccer, ESP, and maybe a couple of others. If you win, you get a piece of candy, but if you lose they take a piece of candy. If you don't have any candy and you lose, they take 500 bells. I would empty my pockets before playing any games with them so that I never lost candy. By doing this, I was able to get the entire Pave set of furniture, plus a whole lot of extra pieces.

I'm looking for a ship cannon from Pascale. I have all of the other pieces, plus an extra anchor. If someone wants to swap, let me know.

Someone asked about fossils. We are missing two, the Plesio Skull and the Shark Tooth. If anyone gets a duplicate of one of these and wants to sell/swap, let me know.

We've got our 3rd bridge but they put it in a place that was pretty useless for us. I tried suggesting a different location with no luck. We also have our fountain but none of us has been successful at getting anything from that chick. I just donated the last 500,000 bells that should get us our choice of a windmill or a lighthouse. I'm waiting for Pelly to ask me which one I want.

In our town, we're collecting LOTS of themes. One DS is collecting robo and space things (he thinks he's getting his upstairs soon and wants both). I've had NO LUCK at all getting the lunar wall or floor from Sahara - has anyone else seen these? My other DS is collecting the mad scientist stuff. My DD has the whole Harvest series but wants the Lovely series now. I know she has the wall, lamp, loveseat and table but might need other pieces. I'm working on the Cabana series and I know I need a screen and a bookcase.

If someone has something specific they want, PM me or send me a letter in ACCF. I'd be happy to order it for you if I can and send it to you.

I'm hoping to have some time to play today, but betweek Girl Scout cookie booths and Cub Scout meetings it may be tough. But if I can play, I'll open up my gate.

Ooooooh! Great tip - thanks!! I'll keep an eye out for those fossils and if I find them, you can have them! Just got your PM and will add you in a few! Also, we chose windmill and kind of wish we had chosen lighthouse since I have read you can go inside the lighthouse. You can't go into the windmill.

1-Wait until after you have shaken all the trees to take the medicine, then you won't go through it as fast. (I have a pattern I shake all my trees in, so I do that, then take the medicine if necessary. I have noticed that the City Folk never say anything about my condition when I visit there, only my neighborhood animals have a problem with how I look after shaking trees. )

2- Try time jumping by a few hours. We have to switch off playing at my house (as 3 want to play AC) and I have found that if I play first by the time I play again my swollen eye is usually gone. Sometimes I will play before Nook's opens to shake the trees, get stung (I have yet to catch one of those darn bees ), then reset the time a few hours ahead and I look "normal" again.

Ok, the trick to the snowman....roll the first ball until you can bearly push it. Then for the second ball, roll it almost as large as the first one. I usually get it close and eyeball it. I have all the snowman series.
As for the trees, I plant coconut trees at the shore line. Walk in the sand and take 2 steps up and plant. We have 20 trees. To get the "rare" fruit growing I chopped down a non fruit bearing tree and buried it there. We now have all the fruit.

I would LOVE to add you guys as friends, PM me with friend codes and I'll respond with ours.

Word of warning: We had gotten the last of the stores...Nookington's and the other day Tom Nook asked us what we wanted as an improvement to our store. We answered longer hours. Well, he closed and we got "NOOK AND GO" again. We are really bummed. Be careful how you answer.

I'm glad I went back to re-read some of the post.. some I have missed. We now have Nookington's and I want to stay with Nookington's. Do you remember what the options are as far as what my choices are on improvement to the store? I want to stick with Nookington's. Town fund question, I have been donating here and there, do they keep track of how much you donated, and when you reach 200,000 you get the bridge? or do you have to donate the 200,000 all at the same time?

Thanks! The biggest money maker for us was buying lots of axes then planting orchards of our native fruit (cherries), fast forwarding 3 days until they bore fruit, chopping them down and immediately digging up the stump to plant the non-native fruits. Then we would fast forward three more days, shake all the fruit off to sell and fast forward again until they bore more fruit, etc. Then I spent hours weeding and replanting flowers to replace the damage.

Now, we are trying to stay within a week of the actual date. Some people think the time traveling is "cheating" but for us it really made the whole thing more fun to get things set up quickly so we had a steady stream of income and could start donating fish and fossils to the museum instead of selling them.

Annika just went to your town and I think she took some more apples and pears for you to plant. You guys can seriously come back and fill your pockets repeatedly with all of the fruits to sell and plant - they will grow back and we both have money banked right now and don't need to sell the fruit. ust don't forget to buy every axe you can find in Nooks - yours AND ours.

They seem to be having a lot of fun together and I am guessing the turn I was supposed to have after my DR. appt is not going to happen.
