Do you have to sell if you don't want to? I would like to buy from the others, but I don't have anything I want to sell. Do I still have to put everything away? It took me awhile to get my house the way I want it.

Here is a tip for the flea market: The animals will only buy from your main floor. Put things away that you don't want them asking for, and try to leave mostly things that you want to sell It is a lot of fun! I use or ACCF guide and see what the stuff I am selling would sell for in Tom Nook's and what it costs to buy it, then I price it somewhere in between.
Yes, your foutain will take about a week. If you know any tricks for getting that golden axe, please share! That silly Serena still hasn't give us one

DD told me that you throw your axe in the fountain for a "chance" to get a golden one. I don't have the fountain yet (as you know), so I haven't tried it. I don't know what happens if you don't get a golden one back... I wonder if you loose your axe? I have several though, so I'll sure give it a try as soon as I get my fountain in.

Me too! I think I'll put away anything I want to make sure I keep tonight. I don't want to have to say no to anyone tomorrow!

DD told me that you throw your axe in the fountain for a "chance" to get a golden one. I don't have the fountain yet (as you know), so I haven't tried it. I don't know what happens if you don't get a golden one back... I wonder if you loose your axe? I have several though, so I'll sure give it a try as soon as I get my fountain in.

Apparently sometimes you lose your axe and sometimes you get it back. Other times you get a gold or silver axe instead. The gold axe is great because it never breaks - it makes rearranging trees to get a perfect town much easier!

No, as long as you are not home for them to come visit you they won't come buy anything.

Oh good luck on the axe, I do it every day and about 89% she keeps my axe the other she gives it back! I hate that darn fountain fairy. Shes awfully moody! I never seem to get her questions right! UGH

hello... good evening everyone. has anyone figured out how the money tree works? i mean you bury the bells... then what? do you just bury them anywhere?

when other animals talk to me and/or asking me for something, i notice there are words that they use are in a different color (purple if i remember it correctly). what am i suppose to do? i don't know if i am making sense here.

I haven't tried the money tree yet. I have been busy banking all the bells I can get to get the fountain. I look forward to hearing how they work though!

The burying the bells does not always work, first make sure that you have the golden shovel then find a tree that is grown. Chop it down then bury your money, water the tree and hopefully it will grow money. They dont always grow money even if you do everything perfect.

I just wanted to thank whoever mentioned to send fruit and ask for fruit from your neighbors. We haven't gotten a friend code yet and I was starting to think we would be stuck with only oranges forever. Anyhow, I did and I received a ton of shirts, but also an apple, a peach and a pear. Then I chopped down an existing tree and they all grew! (Thanks for that tip too .)

On to my new question...it is about the coconuts. I tried planting one, by the beach, but not in the beach sand, just above that and it died. I have two coconuts right now that I haven't planted yet, because I am looking for some advice. I don't have any trees near the beaches, so I can't do that trick. Where should I plant them so they will grow? Can I even plant them? Should I plant them in the sand or the dirt just beyond the beach? Is there a special/premium spot they should be planted in?

All this stress about planting fruit trees, and they aren't even 'real' trees.

I read somewhere else that the more bells you plant the higher the percentage that your tree will grow. So for 1000 bells low chance, bury 30,000 bells you are almost guaranteed (sp?) a tree. The maxium a tree will give is 90,000 bells so you shouldn't plant more then 30K because it will only produce 3 bags of 30,000 is what I read.

On to my new question...it is about the coconuts. I tried planting one, by the beach, but not in the beach sand, just above that and it died. I have two coconuts right now that I haven't planted yet, because I am looking for some advice. I don't have any trees near the beaches, so I can't do that trick. Where should I plant them so they will grow? Can I even plant them? Should I plant them in the sand or the dirt just beyond the beach? Is there a special/premium spot they should be planted in?

Bury them where the "flat" land starts. (Basically 3 squares up from the ocean)


I did this and have them all burried along the beach. I water mine too not sure if this helps but i do each step of the growth process... Good

my update: Flea Market Day!! are you guys finding any bargains! i have a lot to sell, but i only sold one item, so far i only had one animal come in my house. i was able to purchase a couple of things for my house. i'm enjoying this market day. i just wish there would be animals to come by my house.

my daughter found some nice stuff for her house, but unfortunately they weren't selling them.. she's bummed.

I know how ya feel. No one wants to come to my house at all... My son was on earlier and they kept coming and coming. I got some good stuff today. I'm looking for a kitchen sink. I got was was a basen (sp?) To me it looks like a portable bed pan I got my 2nd floor set up to be a kitchen and want a real sink. One of the guys in town has one but won't sell

You can only store Gyroids with Brewster I dont how the other AC work. And you must have one in your pocket when you talk to him. Talk to him just after you enter the coffee shop. Good luck.
