Thank you!! I think the reason I am addicted to this game is because I can actually DO it!!! My DS and DH have their Lego Indy and Lego Star Wars they play but I can only sit and read the play guide to them. To many buttons and things for me!!

This is nice and easy and relaxing. And I have to say that I do love going to the City because the music reminds me of World Showcase.

Sorry! It does happen at every hole. Your character will kick the dirt in the hole. DH thought I was nuts that I got so excited over it. It was the same when Aimee showed me how to blow dandelions when I visited her town.

I do recommend donating the whole lump sum to the town. I started slowly donating, then yesterday I donated 100,000 bells. I was sure I donated enough at that point for a new bridge. So I slowly donated 10,000 at a time until I knew I was well over the 200,000 bells needed for a new bridge. Well I gave up. Then when I came back later that day it told me I had enough for the bridge. So it doesn't seem to tell you when you donate them. I do have a question though, I was told yesterday that the new bridge was going in, but today nothing. How long does it take for the to put the bridge in?


Also has anyone got the darn UFO? I have had it go by 2x when I didn't have my sling shot and the one time I did I couldn't get under it and could never find it again.


Someone suggested looking at the guide for how the trees should be planted. I did that, almost all my trees are planted in perfect rows. Now I have gone from too many trees in areas to not enough greenery in areas. I'll never have the perfect town. I can't tell you how many RL hours I have invested in chopping down trees and replanting them.

For anyone who added me at the beginning of this thing, I can't play the game anymore. For some reason everytime I try it won't let me play. We are having issues with our wii and have to send it in so maybe once we get it back it will work again.

My DS got a shovel!!!! He went to the City around 8pm and the cones were open so he ran back!!! He was so excited! Thanks for the tips!! He is already on his way down to play after taking his shower and getting dressed for school LOL!

Oh, thanks for sharing. I did know about kicking the dirt in the holes already I believe it only works when you don't have a shovel or other piece of equipment in your hands. It takes about a week to get the bridge. I too had a UFO go by and got all excited and couldn't get my net out fast enough I gave up on the perfect town. We have tons of fruit trees, and I can't imagine trying to start over.

Congrats! My son got his too. It only took two nights of trying!!

There was a notice in our town today that Nook's is having a 50% off sale tonight at 7 PM. Has this happened to anyone else? I'll let you know what happens with us!

And...how upset was I when I signed on today....my house is expanded and I owe $120,000.00 on it. When I signed on yesterday it made me pick a roof color and asked if I wanted to expand and I said no.
It will take a month of Sundays to pay that off.

My DS did ask one of his neighbors for a piece of fruit this morning. So when should that show up?

You can do it!! Sad to say, but I can earn that money fairly quickly by selling pocket full of non-native fruit!!! I wish you guys could come to my town and have a fruit picking party! I have soo much! I work tonight and won't be on. Let me know when you usually play, and I can open my gates. Do you have my friend code?

Yeah that is the one thing. You can say no but he will still expand. You can do it. It is a slow process but it will happen. The more you get the more you will be able to sell so it can happen!

You can do it! If the fruit thing works out, you'll be rolling in dough! Our mail comes after 5 PM and I always get a reply the day after we send the mail.

Th apple tree and orange tree I planted three days ago had fruit today! I cut down some other trees and planted them all. Hopefully I'll have cherries and coconuts tomorrow.

I also tried an experiment today. I read on a ACCF message board that those little balloons with presents fly through town on the fives, you know, 10:05, 10:15. I figured I could do a quick loop of the town and check out this theory. Here are my results!

10:05 nothing
10:15 Present came from the right side of town. It was a Starman.
10:25 Present came from the right side of town. It was a fire hydrant.
10:35 Present came from the left side of town. It was a fire flower.
10:45 nothing
10:55 nothing


I think it was a profitable experiment. Try it in your town.

(BTW, I'm off my feet for two days. I'm trying to entertain myself.)

Another thing about the presents is that they typically come through every 20 minutes.


About the house payments - You don't actually have to pay for your house expansion, but if you don't then you won't be able to expand again. There isn't any other penalty for not paying.

I finally donated enough to get the fountain in my town. I am guessing it takes about as long to build as the bridge...? I can't wait to see it!

Tomorrow is the flea market. I have no idea how that works, but it sounds fun. The animal in my town that had some of the furniture collection I wanted moved yesterday! Oh well. I got a new neighbor today! This game is so funny!

Someone mentioned earlier that they were having a sale at their Nooks, that sounded pretty cool! I got a note today saying everything in my Nooks will be half off after 8pm tonight. Sounds good to me!

Here is a tip for the flea market: The animals will only buy from your main floor. Put things away that you don't want them asking for, and try to leave mostly things that you want to sell It is a lot of fun! I use or ACCF guide and see what the stuff I am selling would sell for in Tom Nook's and what it costs to buy it, then I price it somewhere in between.
