When I play ocassionally a dead leaf blows by me and theres a whooshing sound. Does anybody know what this is? It's happened several times and in all different seasons. Has anybody else seen this?

Let Dh knows (and this does work & I got it from this thread ) that if he sends your neighbors a letter (I said fruit please friend in mine) and a piece of native fruit (in my case an orange) they will send you a gift back. I got a bunch of shirts and an apple, a peach, and a pear back from my animals. The coconuts will wash ashore sporadically.

Does it happen when you are talking to one of the animals? That's one of the emotions they can show when they are talking. Actually, I think it might also be one of the emotions you can learn from Dr. Shrunk or Frillard. If it's just happening randomly when you're alone, I have no idea what would cause it!

This is how I got all of my new fruit too! I now have very few (like, only one or two) native fruit trees anymore. I cut them all down and planted new fruit trees in their place. They are worth so much more!

I am still waiting for my new fountain to be built, it should be soon! I can't wait to see it!

I wish there was! I just know I put in more than I needed to!! If anyone knows how to check that, I would love to know too!

When it came time to get the fountain, I just put the bells in the bank until I had the total amount.

you have to donate money to the city to get the wishing well aka fountain. I believe its 500,000. I personally put the money in the bank till i have enough so that way i can make sure i donate the amount that they want.

I second that piece of advice! Also listen for the wind, it seems to indicate a balloon is coming. Someone else mentioned that they did and experiment and found the balloons blew through town on the 5's (like 11:05), so I have been kinda of watching...I have hit at least 2 balloons on the 5's.

To send gifts to neighbors, you have to write them a letter on stationary, attatch the gift to it, and mail it at town hall. The axes cut down trees. I usually keep the tools I use all of the time in my pockets. Sometimes if I am on a mission to sell a bunch of fruit, I will put my fishing pole in my house, and my axe. I always carry my shovel and sling shot Never know when something is going to float by!

I usually keep my letters in my pocket that i write and just address them to my future self and keep the tools that i don't really use all the time stored in there. You can always go back later and change the message in the letter or who it is to go to if you want to send a letter out. It gives you around 10 more slots.. I think... I can always go quickly into my pockets and click the envelope and get them out. I'm crazy silly and i alphabitize all my tools so i can get them out quick.. I use the top row for the tools and the bottom row for gifts i find shaking trees or stuff that people give me until i go home and remove them. Can ya'll tell I need a life

You don't even have to write yourself letters - you can store things in any letters, even those you get from the other animals. The only real advantage to storing things in letters to your future self is that you can write what your storing in the letter so you can find it easily at the post office. But if you just want to free up pocket space you can stick your tools in any letter that doesn't already have something attached to it.
