Oh what time?? I am heading out to take Matt to karate in a few minutes! You can come over and see how bad our town looks. We should be back and could maybe hop on around 8:30 if that works!

My nephews and my sister are going to store some things in their town for us so we don't lose everything.

Vicki!! Long time no see!

I haven't been playing online much - have all of my hybrids stored away and have been messing around with my town layout and jumping around in time a lot. I got burned out on the game and have been going weeks without turning it on.

It would be fun though to have a meet-up with you girls.

All I need for fish is the ray! Why??? *sigh* Does its shadow look so much like a sea bass, which I usually ignore...?

I'm down to my last 3 insects. The nasty scorpion and tarantula that I either can't find or that GET me, and a bell cricket I haven't seen yet because we're only up to August.

we just got this game and I built my first snowman...too cute! I can see how addicting this can get. any tips for a newbie? I paid off my mortgage and have a bigger house now, and of course owe on that. I found a coconut on the beach and planted it and watered it and 2 days later it was gone! why??????

hmmm. don't know why, they usually grow pretty easily! it was right on the beach?

I didn't plant it on the beach. guessing that was a mistake? hoping another one washes up!!!

You can plant coconut trees most anywhere on the bottom level, they don't have to be on the beach itself. Also, when planting trees, make sure there is space to dig holes all around where you plant it. If it's against a cliff, for example, it won't grow.

I'd be happy to exchange friend codes so you can come get more coconuts to try.

The "friend code" is what you would need to play with others, like us. If your Wii is connected to the internet, you go to the gate and talk to - umm, the guy on the right. DOH! Forgot their names. Anyway, he'll give you your friend code. You can play with others by exchanging friend codes, adding each other to your Friend list (the heart menu - go to check your pockets, and you'll see the heart Friend menu), then opening your gate or looking for a friend's gate to be open.

I'm doing this from memory, always a dangerous thing, so someone will hopefully correct me if I got any of that wrong.

The rays shadow is larger than the sea bass, I think. I think it was the size of king salmon and marlin.

We have bell crickets in our town now. Want me to leave the gates open for you tonight so you can get one? They're all over the place. The scorpion won't come out for you (doesn't come out when the gate is open) but the bell crickets are all over.

I wonder if the Ray is the large ocean fish that always, always, always runs away when I try to catch it. I'm either too quick or too slow, I haven't figured it out yet.

Duh....I just added like 15 codes and then realized I was reading an old thread LOL So if anyone wants to trade codes please PM me....we just got this game this past Christmas (2009) and so we're just not getting addicted Sorry for everyone that I sent a PM to that posted back in January 09, didn't mean to stir up friend codes from way back when and I'm sure most of you are done playing or not playing as much.....if you still play and you got my PM please add me though.
