So....that's in the Guy Handbook along with specific instrustions on scratching, selective hearing, how not to find something in the cupboard without help, leaving the seat up, unwillingness to ask directions or to even read directions..........

WELL DAMN~!

being from here...I never even thought about it...leave it to John to exploit a very INNOCENT remark....sheesh.....

Lars~the book was Barbara Delinsky "Heart of the Night" one of her older books, but I hadn't read it before.

Hey Lou, I didn't PM SSB......where are you getting your information!!?!???!! ;)

not to mention bleching, farting, and the inability to answer your children until the six hundredth time they scream DAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDD

oops....off we go again!

Wow, I have so many pages to read to catch up.
You are a chatty bunch!

Bethany: great scrapbook pages. I have to finish my DS's Disney scrapbook and then I need to start my summer Disney trip last year. I wish I had more time to work on them. (maybe if I spent less time on computer, lol)

Steph, do you have some fascination with the dump? or is this another angel joke like laundry and the uniform?

Sandi: Pgh Steak Co. is in the Southside on Carson Street

Lk: your sister may be 45 mins away but I am only 5mins, I didn't get to see the limo (and I waited and waited, lol)

SB: seems like there is always one kid at a party that gives you a hard time. Did you go to Sportsworks at Science Center?

Had a busy day at work yesterday. I forget who asked but Yes I am a nurse. I work as a float in critical care. Yesterday I worked in the Neuro ICU and it was a zoo! I only work once a week or once a pay so I can't complain. ( I work 24/7 as mom!:)

 to everyone else.

Gotta go wake the kids for Monday morning hurry for the bus.

have a great day!

you guys snuck in on me.

You also forgot: hogging the remote and then falling asleep with it under you so no one else can change the channel. And complete inability to call the doctor if someone is sick!

Well looks like I struck a nerve!

I would really love to discuss this further but it is off to work....

But first....

I'm sorry Lars did you say something? I was busy scratching ( or was I "bleching")?

We don't leave it up, you leave it down....

We wouldn't need directions if we were going where we wanted to go rather than where you wanted to go.

And we would find things if you would stop changing where they were for the last 20 years.

Good morning all, veyr slow moving here today... wish I could've stayed home!

Exactly what is the definition of "Derry area" in NH Steph? :earseek: :scared1: :rotfl:
So John, was this your way of actually being halfway nice to me? :p ;)

LOL, love the Guy Handbook there!!!! Just wish my husband hadn't read any of it!

Well hot Damn, Steph did it again!!!!!

Off to at least pretend to work... I think I'll look for some caffeine first though ;)

Don't apologize.............we all know men think w/ their *** instead of their brain!!!;)

Lars - I'd also like to add to the Guy Handbook (I hope the book is not about another topic!!.) I hate when they interfere w/ our DISing time!!!

FM - the party was at Family Sports Complex here in Bethel.

Have to take the ornaments off the tree today, was too tired after my DS party. Not looking forward to that.

Steph, do you have some fascination with the dump? or is this another angel joke like laundry and the uniform?

actually not much of a fascination with the dump...but more of a funny story.

Back on the last angel thread I had gone to the dump one day (a job that since I am the SAHM I get to do...nevermind I got married so I don't have to do it) and while at the dump, I rescued a beautiful oak bar that I used for a time as a kitchen island. Well, the angels were solidly behind me and thought it was a great find...much to my husband's dismay...he was SOOOOO upset that I actually made a withdrawal instead of deposit only at the dump that HE posted on the angel thread!!!

So.....now, it has become a running joke that all of the good things I find, I find at the local landfill.........:)

Good morning everyone.

I couldn't find the riddle so I came here first. Everyone seems wide awake for a Monday morning.

Back to hunting the riddle.

Good morning angels!

I started reading and realized it was going to take me awhile to catch up. Work just really gets in the way sometimes.

I just realized how many of us have Matthews. Mine decided his name is Matt. He gives me many headaches. LOL.

Just wanted to say hello! It will take me awhile to read about ten pages.

Sue:wave:

:wave2:

Steph, there is a Derry, Pennsylvania, also, but I have never been in that "Derry area"!

Carol, looks like we failed on our post count goal for the weekend. :( Maybe by the end of the week?

Hi Sue!

Hmmmm....seems Logan has been studying the Guy Handbook. He has been "puttering" around all morning.:crazy2: :faint:

Sheesh, I missed the Derry Area too!!! I hope just cause I live here, it won't matter.................

I guess I am semi lucky, Pete has an old and tattered man club card, covered with Black Marks. He never leaved the seat up, he always does the garbage, gets mad if I do it, reads maps, etc. Yesterday, he did redeem himself for a moment, he would not allow me to take the map when we went out, and did not take the correct turn on the route he wanted. But he knew exactly where he was anyway.

Sandi, that costume jewelery fetches a high price on ebay, you may want to do some comparisons.

Stephanie, where is the bar now, as you said you were using it as an island for a while? Are you picking up the laminate today?

Lovely snow we had at 2:45 am. Enough to cover up all the old stuff but not much more. I managed to sleep till almost 9. Now I need to find the riddle, take a shower, bathe the dogs (we skipped that yesterday) and stay snug.

I think I'll just let this one stand on its own merits.....

Is that from the Lady's Handbook? :p

Good Morning Angels and TMWLU,

Donna, Thanks for answering me. I'll have to check it out when I'm in southside. I wonder if it's in the Entertainment book

Marsha, I actually wondered about that. I'm going to go to Ebay and have a look around.

E, sorry you had to go in this morning. Mondays are hard.

I'm working on my scrapbook this morning since I'm home today, & heading out later to do some shopping.
Home Depot has those big plastic containers for $2.77, so I'm going to organize my attic finally!

I woke up with a sore throat this morning, DH has been sick for over a week, I hope this isn't what he has.:(

Taking a break........all the ornaments are off and on the kitchen table, houses and train are put away. And my DH thinks I don't work at home.

I hope you put your dogs on the gentle cycle; otherwise, their fur could get matted.

Does this mean Marsha does her laundry doggie style? :teeth:
