Donna, I would go back to Punta Cana in a heartbeat. You can't beat the price. (We would have too if we didn't have DD's wedding in 4 months!!!)

I was exhausted last night.
We took the tree down yesterday, it's outside, then DH and I ended up cleaning out the attic! He parked his dump truck in the driveway under our bedroom window and we tossed almost a truck load of stuff out. Ever since DH and I bought this house from my mom years ago, this was a job I really dreaded doing.
Where did all this stuff come from? Geeezzz
Tomorrow morning DH will be taking it all to the dump.

SSB~It sounds like you & the kiddos had a very busy & very fun weekend!

I am the 'Bargain Queen' or at least that's what my friends call me! I know where to get everythign at the lowest prices & they call me to ask me where to buy whatever it is they need~I RARELY if ever pay full price for anything~I just absolutely love getting a DEAL!! My latest deal besides Christmas stuff was a set of pretty large Lion King stuffed animals, Pumba, Simba & Timon.....I got them for 3.74

May I ask a favor of my angel friends? Matt has Little League tryouts today and it's his last year with the league. Next year he'll be 13 and moving up the next level and a different league. He's really worked hard on improving his skills, especially last season. We also encouraged him to be a good team player and he's gotten compliments from several coaches. He really wants to be chosen for a Major level team and IMH(parental)O he could certainly be an asset to any team.

As in many kids sports leagues, politics plays a big part in who plays on what team here. There is a family who have been involved with this league many years (they have 4 kids) and the mother DOES NOT LIKE my son....or the rest of our family for that matter. I know that last year when he tried for a Major position things were said by that family. It may have had nothing to do with his team placement last year but I'll never know for sure.

Please send some good wishes our way today so that skill, sportmanship and fair-play is what is considered on Matt's tryout and not petty people.

We finished the first half of the season in bowling last night, and my team missed first place by thatmuch. We went to church and CCD this morning, then dropped Leah off for a birthday party. After her party we are taking the IL's out to eat for my FIL's 70th birthday. I'll be back later.

Good Afternoon Angels & TWM~

Mostly lazy day here so far....all I've really done so far is drive MAtthew back & forth to his friends house to practice their solo & wnsemble performance.
Now we're off to Matthew's hockey practice.......btw his team lost last night
We promised to take Dylan to the Dollar Tree while Matt's at practice.

Gail~ Good Thoughts & Good Luck Wishes are on their way from Michigan for Matt on his tryouts!!

I think the Sorcerer Mickey pics of Bethany's DS & of Steph's AJ (I'm assuming that's AJ) are ADORABLE!!! Dylan is very excited becasue our character breakfast will once again include Chip & Dale!! He LOVES them!!

Hello all. Not too lazy here, we drove over to Portsmouth so Pete could see the AFB that is no more, went up to the Kittery Trading Post and I bought a hat, then we stopped at a new grocery store on the way home. It has a Sushi Chef, I think I am going to like that store a lot better. Now we are waiting for the washer to finish so we can wash dog beds and bathe the dogs. Nothing worse than wet dogs on stinky beds!

It is slightly warmer today. Snow tomorrow.

Gail, you know we Angels will come to the defense of your son. There is at least one set of parents in every kids sports organization like that. Just put out the word.

Stephanie, I guess I missed you for the dump run. I did see your exemployers coffee at the Trading Post, I declined to purchase it. Did they cover the check?

Saw "Calendar Girls" this afternoon .... really enjoyable movie !!
Lots of laughs with the right amount of drama thrown in .....
