This is a very weird day so far.

I was in my laundry room earlier, and spotted something moving out of the corner of my eye. Naturally, I freaked out thinking it was a mouse! When I looked, it was a little toad, all covered in dust from crawling out of who knows where. I grabbed a bucket and was able to get it to jump in there. It is now safely outside. I have NO idea how it got into the house!

Second weird thing - I just went out and got my mail, and there's a postcard in it thanking me for my recent stay at the Ft. Wilderness Resort Campsite. They must have me on a mailing list due to my HDD problems. Oh, well. I'm going to fill it out anyway for the heck of it.

LK - Bowling starts up next week here, but unfortunately I can't be in the league this year Starting next week I'm going to be travelling 3 days a week for work and anyway you slice it 3 days a week includes Wednesday which is our league night.....
I was very disappointed !!

I dropped Amy off at school wearing a very large smile on her face! Her teeth look wonderful. I took pictures, but not with digital, so I'll have to finish the roll. We're having nachos for dinner, because Amy hasn't had them for over 18 months. She wants that and popcorn after dinner. (So much for watching our carbs!) The orthodontist gave her enough candy to rot her teeth. Guess we'll need to make an appointment with the dentist next. LOL!

Both kids still feel icky, but it's a high powered med that the doctor gave them. I suspect they'll bounce back by tomorrow.

Carolyn, sorry about your grandmas.

LK, I had a frog in my house a few days ago. My evil kitty was stalking, but DH rescued it.

Another cruiser? What fun! I'm looking forward to hearing about all these trips.

I can't seem to get into the cleanup frame of mind. I have tons to do, but I'm still thinking it's summer vacation I guess. Maybe I'll pull out the sewing machine. I need to hem a skirt for Amy, pants for Allen and take up a couple pairs of my pants.

Shannon did well at pre-school today (although i was there too). While the teacher was going over things w/ the parents, she went off and starting playing. I hope Friday goes well. Took her to the mall for lunch afterwards. Taking Brendan to start a fencing class tonight. DH's cousin and her DH own a fencing studio, so they invited Brendan to try it out (free!).

I cant really book the cruise yet since I dont know what is going to happen with my CM discounts. We should know more before the end of the year. I cant book my hotel either for the same reason.
I do plan to book everything seperately. I already ahve 2 1 day park hoppers for me and I should be getting 2 more before the end of the year. So there is no point in paying for the ultimate park hoppers for all 3 of us. And I can buy Lou and Sam's passes at a slight discount.
If I get to keep all my discounts I should be able to knock at least $2000 off the rack package rates I saw last night.
LK...I will keep that date in mind, we were talking about June as a possibility. Maybe I can arrange it so we are at the parks at the same time.
I really dont want to get too excited about this in case we cant pull it off. But it is certainly fun to start thinking about planning.
Would I be jinxing myself if I change my count down? That one is actually set for spring break 2006.

First of all, prayers for Mrs. AA would be appreciated as she is struggling with a cold that is really hurting her with the asthma. She was having a lot of trouble breathing this morning and we went to the doctor for a shot and some medicine.

If she is okay to watch the girls tonight I am going to travel to Selma to audition for the same Japanese production company we worked with last Spring.

They will be shooting 3 stories for a television program this week. I was really hoping for work in two of them but their schedule calls for them to shoot over Labor Day weekend and that is out for me.

I may very well end up shaving (I didn't have to last time) for one or two days work.

Just wanted to drop in and give a big shout out to everyone. Been doing some chore catching up since we got back from our trip.

Let's see - the bags are unpacked, the DIRTY CLOTHES are washed (notice the absence of a certain word......... ), the lawn has been mowed, the pool is almost all algae free (it wasn't quite as green as the water in the Disney canals, but, I wouldn't swim in it ), all the school supplies have been purchased (Gail - I see you put things away for safe keeping too - taking a page out of my book are we..... ), the teenager is back to spending all day laying around doing nothing, the youngest spends all day complaining she's bored, the husband is back at work and the dog barks every 5 minutes to go out only to bark 5 seconds later to come back in and his breath can still clear a room (the DOG's not the DH's).......

YEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd have to say everything is back to NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disney was great, but hotter than HADES (Brian note the spelling.... ).........

I don't have time to go back and read over everything I missed while away.....DISCLAIMER.........in case I offend anyone in the near future do to lack of info.........

Busy next couple of days getting ready for the end of the summer blow out.....

s go back to school next Tuesday, there really is a God!!!! Bowling starts for me at the end of Sept. cause the s are off on the 16th of Sept. already (what a tease)!!!!

Time to go - I think this pretty much covers it all......

Nice to see you Gerri! I did try Brian's suggestions for the missing notebook but no luck. I actually think he wanted to buy one on that earlier shopping trip but I suggested he wait until school starts to get it. He thinks he got it. Who knows???


I can bowl and I can drink but I can't play bunco. I supposed if we all have a few drinks it won't matter if anyone knows how to play!!!!

Time to get some dinner made. Then tonight it's showers and last minute stuff for the big day tomorrow!

LK, I had to laugh at your story... too cute about the frog. I hate to admit this, but we have a mouse in the house... I know because I saw it one day (couldn't catch it) and the cats keep staring, watching and waiting by the one spot.

Missy, I forgot to say this earlier, but I am so happy that Amy has her beautiful smile to show off!

Lorraine, glad all went well for Shannon. How long is her day at preschool and is it only some days of the week? That's cool that Brendan will fence though, adn the price is perfect

Of course I can't bowl, drink or play bunco... I suppose the not drinking could make up for the inability to play
