Alan, while I am sure Pete would appreciate your defense of him, he hates over cooked veggies, and can't understand why they end up that way when he is doing the dinner prep. You are a true southern boy, gotta have fatback in the beans and greens, right?

Off to the shower and the closet project. TOday I will be using the power saw. Even though the closet is 10 feet across and the closet kit is for a 10 foot closet, I have to add at least 1.5 inches on one end in order to get the pole to be installed. The other end was only off by 1/2 inch or so.

Gial, I already have the purple tat. The next one is going on my lower back. Come on up for the Boston Tattoo Convention next week and get one too!

Suggestions needed: Pete is trying to get home, he is late (typical UAL) and hasn't eaten since who knows when. We were going to go to 99 on the way home when he wase getting in at 6:40 but now he is scheduled to be in at 8:30. No fast food, he says, what could I make that I can run to the store now and get and have it ready when we get home about 9:15 or so? I am leaning toward frozen lasagne?

Marsha, frozen lasagna is a really good idea to me... the other thing that is easy for me to do is spaghetti... start the sauce and let it simmer... the noodles take very little time to cook so if he comes home a wee bit early, you can have it ready in 10 minutes or so

Actually I think I might have just found what dinner is going to be... wonder if I have any ground meat I can throw in...

Well, he still hasn't left Dulles. The only way he could be early would be if he was supposed to come home tomorrow! His flight was supposed to leave at 4:50, they are in the plane waiting for a stewardess to come in from somewhere else.

Ooops, they took off or least pushed back from the gate at 6:35.

Guess I best run to the store and find something quick and easy.

SB, does your pool open later this week since everyone is in school? Our's doesn't open this week until 3:00 p.m.

Ever since I got poison ivy a few years back, I always make sure I have gloves on for everything !

DH finished the 3 new roof peaks today and everything inside is framed in. Now we are waiting on the heating guy and the electrician. Windows and sliding glass doors are all ordered.
I feel like I'm living in a barn!

Cami, I am glad that you don't seem to have much trouble with the sellers. We had the opposite problem... we had to wait and eventually we kicked the old owners out as our lease was up on the apartment. I hope the rest goes well for you.

Marsha, we had a convention like that back in June. Pity I didn't have a design or location picked by then. Maybe next year

Star, interesting you mentioned about your idea for a tattoo... I was thinking last night about it and was thinking about a star myself. I have a sun picked out (my name means "light" so I wanted a sun or a star... which would really be the same) with an aquarius symbol mixed in... but then I remembered that the tarrot deck has Star as card that represents Aquarius... seemed fitting.

Lorraine, thanks for getting some sun for me... I only got a couple minutes out there myself today.

Sandi, it is odd that I got hurt w/ the gloves... I suppose that my nails were just too long and that would have happened gloves or not. I have sensitive skin, so I usually go with gloves so I don't have to worry about skin troubles later. Sounds like things are moving along at the house!
