Just for the record here is how everyone did in each of the games. Less than 5 or 8 as the second number just meant the person couldn't see all the pictures.

Donna ~ 4/5 & 6/8

Gail ~ 3/4 & 6/8

MP ~ 4/5 & 4/7

E! ~ 4/5 & did not play

Lars ~ 3/5 & 3/7

Lorraine ~ 1/5 & 1/4 (but had the funniest comments by far)

Bethany & Sam ~ 3/5 & 5/7

LK ~ 3/5 & DNP

Cami ~ 3/5 & 4/8

Sandy ~ 3/5 & DNP

Marsha ~ 3/5 & DNP

Star ~ 5/5 & 7.5/8

Steph ~ 5/5 & 5/8

Sandi ~ 1/5 & DNP (I'm paying to send you and Lorraine there immediately)

Val ~ 2/2 & 3/8

Carol ~ 4/5 & 1/8

Leanne ~ 4/5 & DNP

Broken 8 Ball ~ I think 3/5 & 5/8

Elaine, your dinner sounded good. I did not go to the store. He made tomatoe soup and had an adkins ice cream bar (YUK). I had nothing. Tomorrow I will cook again.

LK, are the players giving you a hard time? Shame on them for making you work late. I like Stephanie's dream, tho.

I did not get the closet done, I never used the power saw, and I couldn't figure out how to unlock it. Then the plumbers came over because I was tired of no hot water, warm water but no hot water. Seems the anti scald valve was turned all the way to cold, so even tho I cranked the heat up to the tank, the cold water just made it warm. Now the vale is unlocked so I can decide how much to mix hot and cold myself. And last week Pete noticed that the hall bath toilet was filling with hot (actually warm) water upon flushing. When they checked it out, it seems my main man Jeff, who is a hottie of a plumber, put the lines together backwards, so all the cold was hooked to hot and all the hot was hooked to cold. Which also explained why we had to put the shower on all the way cold to get the non existant hot water to come out of the shower head. Now we have nice hot water, and all the spickets are correct. Only the kitchen was correct. Sheesh. Now I can have a hot bath and it will actually be hot.

Lou, I am so ashamed of my poor showing. I will be sure to refresh my memory in October. My travel agent is trying to book me a room in the castle, he knows I deserve the royal treatment!

Star, nice pictures of your son. THey grow up fast. And the cruis is almost here, I know you are all so excited.

Sandi, how fun is it living with the remodel? But it will be so nice when it's done.

Does anybody know where I stashed some of the school supplies I efficiently purchased a few weeks ago????
Good thing we didn't wait until tomorrow to load the backpacks, I still have time to replace the missing items, which I'm sure will surface just as soon as I get home with the new stuff!

Matt's game went well, but I don't think they won. This is purely instructional and scores aren't recorded. It helps the kids moving up to the bigger field and more innings some experience with older players. The teams seem to be a good mix of all ages and skills.

There was a Richard-sighting on the adjoining field. We'll either play his team on Thursday, or not for 3 more weeks given the rotation.

Cool stats on the game Lou!

I vote for under the bed or in the front hall closet.

Taking a well-deserved break from my work for a piece of b-day cake and some Dis. ;) I've been working on redoing the spare bedroom and so far I've scrapped, spackled, painted, papered, tore up the carpet, removed all 6,500 ( ok it seemd like that many) industrial strength staples the the carpet guy used on the pad, put down a new wood floor, did all the trim work (thanks for the mitre saw dad...:teeth: ) hung the new door, replaced all outlets and switches ( yes, you should turn off the power when you do this...:hyper: ), put up the closet organizer (respackled the holes in the wall that were drilled in the wrong place  )
put up the chair rail (there's that mitre saw again) hung the new closet doors............and whew.......I'm taking a break........all that's left is to put the night stands together and wait for the bed.....lol I should be back to post in four or five days. :teeth: :wave2:

What's the deal? I haven't been able to get on and DIS all day today.

Thanks for asking about Amy. She's got two ear infections AND swimmer's ear. OUCH! We took David with us to the doctor, because his coach lost his sport's physical from last May. When the doctor got to his ears and throat, she announced he has an ear infection, too.

Amy goes to the orthodontist tomorrow morning. It's the big day that the braces should come off. She's so excited! :hyper:

Tonight was open house at the high school. Whew! We've met all the teachers now.

I'm not responding to everything, since it'd make my post way too long! I'll just say :wave2:

Star, are you coming down for Saturday's game? They moved the time to 11:00, I think. We have a mudball fight with Scouts in the morning, Amy is parking cars before the game, and the guys are going to the game. We might be able to work out a meet after if you'll be in town. If not, we'll have to try again next time.

OK, I tried to post earlier and the board gave me the too busy message!!!

The short of it is....I start work next week, my grandma is dying (mom's mom), my other grandma (dad's mom) has started daycare 3x a week, I've sorted most of 2nd gma's stuff. Why does a single person need 7 bedspread sets?? and Why did her sisters feel they had to pack the cleaning supplies and medications that expired years ago or were empty??

Ok better get in bed. I need to get up really early in the morning. I'm practicing for next week:)

Hopefully I have typed fast enough and won't have to type this again.

I will need to catch up in the morning when I take a break from cleaning out the basement!!
Night:wave2:

Morning all! Slept like a baby last night and still didn't want to get up when it came time to this morning :p

Marsha, actaully tomato soup sounds good to me too! I ought to bring in a few of those for work since I seem to keep skipping out on eating a real lunch lately. I hope you can get all your work done today!

Hey that sounds good to me... actually I more or less only have 2 places I would like it... lower back (probably on the right side to "balance" the other) or my lower right abdomen... neither place I am particularly happy with at the moment... I just don't want it in a place that will show unless I *want* it to show.

Gail, I hope you find the supplies soon!

Wow Brian, you've been busy!!!!

Missy, sorry about Amy... I hope her ear feels better soon!

Carolyn, sorry to hear about your grandmas. Good luck with your job.

Hi Lars & Lou :wave2:

Morning!

SB, looks like our plan worked! Lou IS sending both of us to WDW!:Pinkbounc

Carolyn, sorry to hear about your grandmas.

MP, Amy must be SO excited!! I can still remember when Adam got his braces off!

I'm off and running to work. Have a great Day!

Morning All!

LK - that sucks! sorry i wasn't working yesterday, although I don't know how much help I would have been.

Sandi - my pool is always open! and yeah, i could go for a WDW trip - wanna join me?

Brian - slow down mister!

Star - I didn't get to watch AR last night. i taped it though.

Lou - since i knew i wouldn't know too many answers, i thought i'd should at least take the comical approach!

My neighbor up the street invited me to sub for bunco last night!:Pinkbounc I knew a lot of the moms from Brendan's school. i told them before if they ever need a full time person, i'm there! it was nice to walk half a block home when we were done. i didn't get home till almost midnight. boy they love to gab!
Taking Shannon to pre-school today - it's only an hour and the parents are invited.

have a good day all

Brilliant plan!!

MP, hope your kids's ears clear up soon.

LK, sorry you had to work last night.

And my excuse for the poor showing in Lou's second set of pictures is that I didn't think I was in the running so I only sent the one answer I was sure of right off the bat and never got back to it. (I know...excuses, excuses.)

 friends.

oooh....real quick before I leave...
There is a slim chance we may be going on a Disney Cruise next June. Lou and I were talking about it and I decided to price it out. I was expecting him to freak at the full price rates, but he was ok with it. Level 7 with a verandah and a deluxe resort stay, 4 on land 3 at sea.
Now to see how low I can get the prices with discounts....

Sometimes it is cheaper to book both parts seperate. A little more hassle as you don't get to check in to the cruise at the sametime as the hotel, if you are doing resort first, but it can be cheaper. Renting a car can also be cheaper than DCL transport. But no matter what, you will have a great time. The 3 night cruises are filling fast due to the Magic being in CA for the summer, BUT DCL does set aside rooms for the Land/Sea packages, so if you can't book them seperate, the package will be the way to go. I did it in 2000, just let DCL take care of everything. It was easy, but not cheap!

The DIS was bad last night for me, too. Which is why I have a sort of double post.

What trouble can I get into today?

Bethany, I had to read your post twice. I thought at first we might be sailing together! We are doing a four night cruise, though, not a three night. We set sail on June 12.

Star - I can't wait to hear about your cruise!

MP - I hope the kids' ear infections clear up soon. Congrats to Amy on getting her braces off!

Carolyn - sorry to hear about your grandmothers. :(

Steph - as you can imagine, I did not come home to the Fantasyland you described. ;) I know, what a shock. ;)

Donna was kind enough to rescue me from the dealership this morning. It is going to take them 3 to 4 hours to repair a leak in the air conditioning condenser, whatever the heck that means. We shopped for a few "essential" scrapping supplies, and we are heading out to lunch in a little while.

Sandy - bowling league starting soon? We just found out that we start on the 18th. We are at new lanes this year. They should be much better than the hole in the wall we bowled at last year.

Sandi and Lorraine - congrats on winning a WDW trip from Lou!!
