Yesterday was a Mommy/daughter day for Mrs. AA and Lela.
Mrs. AA had made an appointment at a salon and Lela had a manicure and pedicure, her hair done, nails painted and sparkles everywhere.

She was so proud to show me when I came home.
Abigail was with her grandmother so my other 2 girls could enjoy the day together; a friend from church provided transportation.
From the salon they went to the mall and decided to eat in the Food Court instead of a resteraunt. You would think this would be a money saver wouldn't you? ummmm...no
You see, the next thing on their agenda was to go see Two Brothers (or whatever the tiger cub movie was) that afternoon so since the meal was so quick they had time to kill.
Are y'all familiar with Club Libby Liu at Parisian's? Mrs. AA just discovered it, and being the fair mom she is, couldn't buy all this fun stuff for Lela without buying some to bring home to Abigail too. Purses, polish, tattoos, oh my!
Oh, and for an added surprise, Mrs. AA had some hair trimmed while at the salon too. Then she decided to do something different.
Gentlemen, if your wife comes home and you suddenly discover she has had 6 to 7 inches cut from the length of her hair, the appropriate response is not "OMG, what did you do?"
Later that night she told me that she wanted to do the salon experience for her birthday which was very disappointing because that is exactly what I was already planning to arrange for her...but as a surprise. Oh well....
