Luis is supposedly going out to get dinner, and right now I am enjoying listening to a new CD. At Clay's concert, the opener was this teeny girl from the South of France... but when she sang... I admit I was interested... so today I found her first English release and am rather impressed.

Steph sorry to hear about your DS, I don't know if this helps much but when I broke my arm a few years ago it didn't really hurt that bad it was more uncomfortable than anything. for you & your mommy moment.

Bethany I think Carol is right.....I was on swim team for a lot of years and altho it might seem like it goes away it will come back without the anti bodies.

Ok first day of school, done! I admit I cried off and on most of the day....at one point I just called my best friend from high school and just bawled ... she said whats wrong and I told her my son was a 1st grader and she cried with me. (blinking quickly and doing the julia roberts lip pouch)
On a lighter note, MP I'm for sure going to come down on the 4th for the season opener, you gonna be in town??

Steph, I think I forgot to say how sorry I am that AJ got hurt. Hope you all have a good night's sleep tonight.
Did I mention that Mom got into chiggers in the garden? She says she looks like she has the measles. They are in her neck, the backs of her knees, her armpits, inside her elbow, her waist, her legs and spots I won't mention on a family board.
Anyone have any great remedies? I looked on-line and sent her a few but I don't know which ones work. We don't have much problem with chiggers in town (thank goodness). I think they are the worst itch!
Bethany, if it's just water in your ear you can try a few drops of alcohol in each ear. That will dry it out. Or you can buy something called SwimEar. If that doesn't work you probably need to see a doc. Hope you get better soon.

We're having spaghetti and meatballs with french bread and green beans. I decided to cook a bunch of dinners in advance, so I've been in the kitchen all afternoon. I decided to fix something easy tonight to give my feet a break.

OHHHHHHH mp I forgot to post my answered prayer.....
As you know was disappointed that there were no other boys that he knew in his class. We walk in the door and I see this little boy that looks familiar and G says mom it's TJ!! A boy from our church that I didn't even know went to our school. G's known him most of his life......blessings!! w00t aren't they great!
His frist day seemed to have gone well....he's not wanting to talk about it much......but he seemed happy when I picked him up. I'm a lot happier having him home!!
One other bit of good news (for a change lol) I got my papers for my cruise!!

I don't think we'll get as many updates from LK since she doesn't have free long distance. It is cold here tonight. I think tomorrow, I will take the kids shopping for school clothes and shoes. Plus, I can look for bargains for myself.
