E, I'd love to hear your singing. Seems to me if you're brave enough to record the music and put it online you should be brave enough to share it with your angelic friends.

We ended up going to Olive Garden and ate too much. It was good to get MIL out of the house for a while. She gets so depressed. I think we lifted her spirits. We also picked up her new treadmill and put it together for her. That took longer than we had planned, but it'll be good for her to be able to exercise without leaving FIL alone.

Mom is flying to Kansas City tomorrow. Hopefully she'll soon have some more info on my uncle.

I know I didn't come near responding to everyone, but I'm sleepy. So I'll sign off for tonight and check back in the morning.

Bravo for your MIL for exercising!!!! I have to admit this put the silliest mental picture in my head when I started imagining my MIL on a treadmill!

We had a fun day yesterday spending time with my sister Donna and her family. The kids had a great time running around with their cousins. They only get to visit each other a few times a year.

Olive Garden is wonderful... I haven't eaten there in ages! Very cool that she still works out too. I love knowing my dad gets on a treadmill as much as he can.

I lucked out and had a great weather week .... a couple of days at the end of the week were predicted washouts that turned out to be pretty nice days.....highlight of the trip was getting a ride in my friend's uncle's sailboat that he took 3 years to build himself ... it was a beautiful piece of art !!

I did read ALL the pages I missed, but as SB said it took a looong time so I can't possibly do a proper catchup ..... everyone!

Donna and Sue, we've stayed in the mansions back when they were Dixie Landings. It's beautiful. One of my favorites!

Anyone remember the Jetsons and George doing the treadmill? When MIL turned it on for the first time her feet were at the back and her hands were hanging onto the front. All I could think about was George Jetson flapping round and round on his treadmill.

Gail, I love the picture in my head of your MIL in heels on the treadmill. Have fun in Maine!

Mike, I keep meaning to tell you that I've eaten at Whispering Canyon and 50 Primetime Cafe. Both were great! You need to remember to ask for more beans and ketchup at Whispering Canyon, though.

Today we take our kids to the cathedral in Oklahoma City. They have a service every August after summer camp has ended where all camp counselors and kids have a part in the service. They all wear their camp shirts and sing camp songs for the music. Some are asked to stand up and speak about what the St. Crispins experience means to them. Then all the kids take part in a cook out in the garden. My kiddos are excited to see some of their friends.

After a quick hamburger we are heading back to Norman for VBS. Hopefully, my mom finds someone to drive her to the airport so we can all go. She forgot and scheduled her flight tonight, so I might have to skip out to take her to the airport.

So it's a busy afternoon. We did decide to skip services this morning since we are doing the camp thing this afternoon. So I'm enjoying a lazy Sunday morning. I'm still in my nightie.

Taking a break from doing outside work. The pool is up and DH just went to go buy mulch to put around the outside of the pool. Shannon got some kind of cold yesterday - she is so miserable when she has one. I threw on a Disney movie just to give me a break.

Sue Update! LOL (I think she can't stand it that I am not there with her yet..........since we went together last year!)

She said the first bus that came was Epcot...so they went there and took the monorail to MK. She said they got the front seat and the driver was really nice and gave the boys certificates and gave her and Bill all these tips about transportation......(she said even Bill was impressed!

then they decided to take the ferry from TTC to MK........(she called me from the ferry)......she had to tell me: I SEE THE CASTLE! YAY!

Welcome back Lorraine. I see you had the same vacation as us. We didn't have IL's but we did have mosquitos.

Went to church this AM at the church we have been visiting. Next week we will go to the church we belong to. Andrew has a part in the service. He likes the youth group at the old church and asked us to continue going there until he leaves for college. That is a hard request not to honor.

When we left to go to Phenix City for church this morning, the van wouldn't start! So we canceled the trip and let the church know Mrs. AA would not be singing a few songs in morning service.

Fortunately, we are in walking distance to our own church so we went there and said our goodbyes to our classmates.
