You guys are the greatest. And how did you know that I needed a pick-me-up today? You're so smart!
I went this morning to have my twice a year blood work drawn. They have so much trouble hitting my veins, that I alwasy dread it. My veins are hard to see and very shallow (which doesn't seem to go together, but it's true). Anyway, that is done.
Now, tomorrow I go to the dentist for a checkup and then to my oncologist in the afternoon. I'm always a little apprehensive about going to the doctor, but this time is worse. They didn't tell me to fast before my blood work last time (in fact they didn't even tell me I was getting blood work), so I ate a loaded bagel and drank orange juice. Then they said my blood sugar was a little high.

Duh, whose wouldn't be after that breakfast? So this time I had to fast. Tomorrow I hope I'll hear that it was in the normal range. Cross your fingers for me please. Then on Friday I have to go for another mammmogram. This is the exam that starts me back on the yearly schedule. I'm sure it'll all be fine, but I get butterflies every time. So your timing was fantastic. The PMs made me feel so loved!
I ran out to the thrift store after the lab. Amy needs a costume for the play next week. She's a reporter, so she wanted some sort of suit or a jacket she could wear with slacks. I picked up a couple of things. I'm hoping they fit and that my picky teen with think they're okay. So I'm off to wash the "new" clothes so she can try them after school. TTFN
