Alan, you are a hoot!
E, I've called the vet's office. Our vet isn't there today.

But a guy that I went to high school with also works there. He's supposed to call back this afternoon to talk to me about my baby and whether he thinks I need to bring her in. Like I told them, if she could talk and tell me what hurts, I probably would wait. But she isn't acting like herself.
Being a little neurotic, I got out the scissors and trimmed some of her hair. She needs grooming in the worst way and I hated to take her to the doc looking unloved. She was *thrilled* that I was chopping around in her hair when she doesn't feel well. Poor baby. I'm a mean mommy!
Amy finds out today if she gets a leadership position. I have my fingers crossed. It would be good for her and she's never acted interested before. She is also trying out for the school play (actually a group of student written mini skits - Amy wrote theirs). Probably won't know the results of that until next week. She was worried that one cast member keeps giggling and many of them mumble.
Found out the other day that the fall musical at David's school is Beauty and the Beast this year. We ran into the choir teacher when we went to open house. He told David to try out. He asked David if he was familiar with Gaston's song and David said "Mom and Amy play the CD *all the time*!"

Wish he had time to do it. But with swimming it's just impossible. I thought Amy would cry. She will be eligible to try out for the musical next year. She'd be perfect for this one. She knows the whole thing. She thinks she is Belle, I believe.
