darn..how did I miss a call for mimosa??? guess I'll be happy with the coffee Brian made.

Today is Day 1 of Meggie and Mommy Days. Letting the princess sleep in rincess:, but I'm sure she has plans for us. It's overcast here today, but maybe we'll brave the weather and go for a short bike ride to the school playground.

Funny story....My neighbor, and very good friend called yesterday to see how I liked the new siding on her house. They left on Thursday morning, just as the installers were starting. Honestly, it looks fabulous..and really updates the house. However, when she said to me "do you like that color grey?" I had to stop and think..then look out my window.....her house isn't grey...it's tan!!!!!

I had the dubious honor of telling her that they put up the wrong color siding......hopefully she'll LOVE it when she gets home...

The picnic was very fun..........the big joke of the night was how much food I had........don't know what I was thinking.....LOL!
The weather was perfect......

Dan had asked LK if she could get him tickets to the Pirate game Skyblast fireworks........and she says she will try......well, for the rest of the night when her drink was empty....she would say: Oh, Dan..........Skyblast tickets.....LOL! Sue even called him on his cell phone while he was playing bocci ball to tell him that her and LK were drinkless!

That's the same thought I had. Any guy who keeps his cell phone on in his own back yard on the 4th of July (which fell on a Sunday) while he is playing Bocci deserves to get crank phone calls (even if they are from Angels).

DH is still zzzzzzzzzzzzz. He got in very late from the KISS concert last night. He probably had to clean all of the KISS makeup off of his face before he came home.

It is a good excuse (and a good offer ). I'll even throw in a yorkshire pudding or two for tea! LOL

Todays plan is faucet instatllation and Target. I figure if he is gonna drag me to Home Depot AGAIN I am dragging him to the clearance racks at Target. I used to like Home Depot, but the staff is starting to recognize me....makes stocking up on paint chips and laminate tags difficult, LOL. If you are wondering, I use those things for scrapbooking and card making. The Mickey head paint chips are my favorite. I might make luggage tags out of some of those.
