Sandi, I'm so sorry about your fur baby.

It's a hard decision to make.
What was new at the scrapbook convention? Let's see. They had a contraption that allows you to emboss paper or sheets of metal by using flat charms, textured items, and/or templates. It was fun to play around with but it cost $150 for the machine and then extra if you want the fancy dies that you can use with it.
There was cool adhesive-backed paper in velum and mulberry. They also had denim and cotton. All of it could run through your printer. So you could print wedding pictures or sayings, etc. Then just peel off the paper backing and it sticks like a sticker. They looked wonderful. I just couldn't think what I needed them for. I may get some next year.
The best deals were laser cut die cuts for $1 each and those tend to be expensive. The line was over an hour long.

We waited until about 20 minutes before closing and checked out in about 10 minutes. Another booth had 12 X 12 paper for 25 cents a sheet. It was solid colors that have a different shade on each side. They are great for tearing. Then you see both colors. Yet another booth had little plastic rectangles with words on them for 25 cents each. They look like silver or gold and say "believe" or "Dear Santa" , etc. I bought a whole bag of those.
There were a lot of make-and-takes, but in past years they were all free. This year many were $1-2. I made 2 pages and a tag. I signed up for tons of give-aways. As I signed up for a cruise drawing I thought about how I should have brought the twins with me for luck.
I saw some Disney papers, titles and tags that I hadn't seen before. And two pirate packages. I had no pictures to go with pirates, so I passed them by.
Other than that much of it was what I've seen before but in great quantities. You can find just about anything you are looking for.
I'm jealous that you are having a Lou-ow without me. Wish I'd thought to send a package. How clever the guys are! I'll be thinking of you. Can't wait to see pictures.
David comes home from camp tomorrow with his friend. Then we drive to Amarillo on Sunday to drop them both at camp. The house is still upside down from the carpet cleaning. I guess a teenager won't care as long as he gets fed and has a place to sleep.
Hope the sun comes out for the graduation ceremony, Carol. We want pictures.
We'll miss you Cami. Come by when you can to say hi.
SB, I'm tired enough without hearing your supermom cleaning list. LOL! I take my hat off to you. I'm still cleaning, but I'm going much slower than you are.
Long time no see, Kimmar.
Have a safe trip to all of the traveling angels.
I thought Cheaper By the Dozen was cute, too. We got a used copy on DVD last week.
Oh and my baby birds have flown the coop. They come back to the nest at night to sleep, but they are out doing solo flights all day.
