One of Leah's presents was a DVD of "Cheaper By The Dozen". We just finished watching it. It is a cute movie.

LOL @ Brendan's reaction to the nekkid women painting!:p

Have fun in Boston, Steph and Neil.

...have it on DVD, too! The kid who plays Jake is sooo adorable! (reminds me of Orlando Bloom!)

Might go to bed soon... or just veg for a few hours :p

Good Evening!
You guys have been chatty today!
I haven't even had a chance to log in here since this morning.

My toy poodle with the congestive heart failure is fading fast.
I called the vet this afternoon. She hasn't eaten in 2 days and today she won't even take any water.:(
I'll be seeing the vet in the morning to pick up my sister's dog who just got spayed, so we'll have to make a decision I'm afraid.
She's also not getting up, she just lays there. I walk into the room and she doesn't even lift her head up.

BB and Andy are leaving around 12:00 I think to head back home with a car full of wedding gifts. I finally got to see their Cancun pics, Gorgeous!!

:grouphug: for Sandi, I'm so sorry. :(

Not too busy tomorrow, just stuff around the house, then heading to Boston on Sunday. I'll let you know if Steph behaved or if there's stories about her antics in the local papers! :earseek:

Nice to see you Kimmar! :D

 CS

Carol - The rain should be gone by morning so you should have a nice day for graduation. :sunny:

Ha ha Lou. DH was out in the rain golfing all day.

Hi Kimmar!:wave2:

Steph - enjoy your time alone.;)

Sandi - I'm so sorry about your dog. My IL's poodle is not doing well either - he is almost blind now, can't hear very well, and is limping. He is almost 16 years old in people years.

Gail - have a great time in Boston!! BTW - what is happening to the Red Sox? They can't let the Yankees stay in 1st place.

I was watching the Reagan funeral in California. His kids speeches were heart wrenching and humorous as well.

Sandi:

SB: I cant believe your DH was crazy enough to go golfing in this weather today! But it looks like it is clearing up and going to be nice tomorrow!

 Gail: have fun at your meet!

Sandi, I'm so sorry about your fur baby. It's a hard decision to make.

What was new at the scrapbook convention? Let's see. They had a contraption that allows you to emboss paper or sheets of metal by using flat charms, textured items, and/or templates. It was fun to play around with but it cost $150 for the machine and then extra if you want the fancy dies that you can use with it.

There was cool adhesive-backed paper in velum and mulberry. They also had denim and cotton. All of it could run through your printer. So you could print wedding pictures or sayings, etc. Then just peel off the paper backing and it sticks like a sticker. They looked wonderful. I just couldn't think what I needed them for. I may get some next year.

The best deals were laser cut die cuts for $1 each and those tend to be expensive. The line was over an hour long. We waited until about 20 minutes before closing and checked out in about 10 minutes. Another booth had 12 X 12 paper for 25 cents a sheet. It was solid colors that have a different shade on each side. They are great for tearing. Then you see both colors. Yet another booth had little plastic rectangles with words on them for 25 cents each. They look like silver or gold and say "believe" or "Dear Santa" , etc. I bought a whole bag of those.

There were a lot of make-and-takes, but in past years they were all free. This year many were $1-2. I made 2 pages and a tag. I signed up for tons of give-aways. As I signed up for a cruise drawing I thought about how I should have brought the twins with me for luck.

I saw some Disney papers, titles and tags that I hadn't seen before. And two pirate packages. I had no pictures to go with pirates, so I passed them by.

Other than that much of it was what I've seen before but in great quantities. You can find just about anything you are looking for.

I'm jealous that you are having a Lou-ow without me. Wish I'd thought to send a package. How clever the guys are! I'll be thinking of you. Can't wait to see pictures.

David comes home from camp tomorrow with his friend. Then we drive to Amarillo on Sunday to drop them both at camp. The house is still upside down from the carpet cleaning. I guess a teenager won't care as long as he gets fed and has a place to sleep. ;)

Hope the sun comes out for the graduation ceremony, Carol. We want pictures.

We'll miss you Cami. Come by when you can to say hi.

SB, I'm tired enough without hearing your supermom cleaning list. LOL! I take my hat off to you. I'm still cleaning, but I'm going much slower than you are.

Long time no see, Kimmar.

Have a safe trip to all of the traveling angels.

I thought Cheaper By the Dozen was cute, too. We got a used copy on DVD last week.

Oh and my baby birds have flown the coop. They come back to the nest at night to sleep, but they are out doing solo flights all day. :teeth:

Good morning everyone.

The :sunny: is shining and it is a beautiful day. I can feel myself getting misty already. The graduation ceremony is at 10 but we will be leaving here before 9. I will try to get some pictures.

Sandi, :grouphug: to you. It is so hard when our furbabies get old.

I hope Twerpcon is a success. And am I right that Gail and Steph are going to a meet in Boston? Cool. When is and where PICcon? BTW, are HerPIC and our other new member going to AngelCon?

Laura, we tried to rent Welcome to Mooseport last week but it was all out. Let me know how it is. We saw Cheaper by the Dozen in the theater and it was cute.

Can't remember much more. I am anxious and excited about today. Talk to you later.

Congratulations Sarah!

Hope you have a Wonderful Day!

MP, The convention sounded wonderful!!! I'm going to have to keep my ears and eyes open for one around here!

Good morning all!! Stormy weather here today... I hope PA won't see any of this today!!

Gail, I hope you have a wonderful time today!!!!!

 Sandi

Sounds like a great time for you Merry!!

Carol, congratulations to Sarah!!! I can't wait to see any pictures!!!
