I had a great time at the Science Center yesterday. All the boys were very well behaved. Even my own.

Today I think we will head over to the pool with that other crazy internet lady. You know the one with all the cats!

E- the reason we have 3 is because it's the only flex feature that I like so we get one everytime lol and yes as Carol mentioned you can leave a message as well as pictures. All of mine are of the DS and I, it's cute to see him growing up from year to year. Of course everytime we go we have to track them down which is great fun for the DS.

We are back from the orthodontist. Amy gets the braces off next month. Yay! Just in time for our family reunion, too.

I miss John. Glad to hear he's doing well.

I did my part to PM Lou. I think I forgot to PM Carol the other day, so happy belated Carol Day to Carol.

Eating paste wasn't my style, but I did love to sniff mimeographed sheets fresh from the machine. Anyone remember those before the days of the xerox machines?

The first Monday of June is celebrated (albeit, only by a day off work for state employees) as the birthday of President Jefferson Davis.

While I am not a civil war enthusiast, nor a Southern romantacist, I have visited the first White House of the Confederacy and done enough reading to see him as an admirable soldier, politician, and patriot. He was a man of intellectual prowess and of character.

My mom is threatening to come over and help me. We always fight when she comes over to help me clean. She gets REALLY bossy, God love her. She may be right, but I have my way of doing things. Cross your fingers that I don't pinch her head off. LOL! Don't get me wrong, I love her dearly. I'm just stubborn when it comes to having someone tell me what to do.

LK: I know Lou doesn't mean any of those things he says about me so I just ignore them........he calls it my own little world but hey, it works for me!

So I go to the pool and wait for Sue and wait and wait. It was so unbelievably crowded you had to stand in your own little space of water or get trampled......so I was ready to leave........I call her and say: where the heck are you? she says: oh. is it crowded......I think I will go to my SIL's house instead! (Doesnt she know I had to fight for that chair for her!!! )

Went to Red Lobster for lunch, and in about 1/2 hour, we are going to have cake. A guy we work w/ and his wife are expecting their first child next month, so some of us pitched in and got him a gift card that we are going to surprise him w/.

I remember teachers warning kids not to eat paste and trying to scare them by saying it's made of fish eggs! No caviar in 2nd grade! I also remember the purple printing on mimeographs in school but I don't remember what it smelled like.

Gee, I wish we had pools around here like they do in Pittsburgh. Too many folks have their own pools....just not us...and of course we do live in the Ocean State so I guess we do have other options....
