It is beautiful here today.

Lorraine, congrats. I also wondered exactly when 212 days was. We really enjoyed Dixie Landings, which I think is where you are staying.

Both of my kids have used instruments. One is from their swim coach and the other from our neighbor. I might wait until after the 3 month trial rental period to be sure Leah likes the flute before your buy. That is what we did.

We rented "Second Hand Lion" over the weekend. It was a nice movie that we all could watch and enjoy together. No bad language.

I better get fixing dinner. The natives are getting restless.

Lorraine...we loved POR, if you are staying in the Alligaor Bayou section, ask for corner room that way you end up with 2 windows. We had one and loved it, the room seemed a bit bigger because of the corner set up.

Sam and I spent an hour at the pool this afternoon. Then Lou surprised me by coming home early....grrrr. He thinks he is working from home tomorrow....double grrrrr.

Now I need to finish washing, drying and folding all my clothes. I think this is the worst chore......note I didnt say laundry was a bad thing

I second the corner room though. We had one a month ago in the Mansion section (I loved it!!!) and it was great to have a view out two windows

Evening everyone!

well I got my first taste of what all day school is going to be like next year and truth be told it was kinda sad. I did however manage to fill my day with a bunch of nothing. lol

The weather here was cruddy and rainy (20% my aunt fanny)

We took Ds out to buy a golf bag from his Papa for his birthday (IL's) because my dad has purchased him a summer of Jr. golf for his part. Then we had a nice dinner out at a local hamburger joint.

I heard today that the circus is in town and so I finally solved the problem of what to do to make DS's real b-day special.

Cotton candy anyone??

Hello All,

Just back from a nice dinner out with some friends and neighbors.
We had a really good time........I think I am a little tipsy now from my 2 maragaritas!

My friend's husband volunteered to watch my kids so I could go which I thought was very nice of him. He ended up taking the kids (his 4 plus my 2) on an "adventure" .....they got lost....saw an old graveyard and did rubbings....saw some groundhogs...and went for ice cream. My kids think he is the greatest now!


Crossing my fingers for good weather this weekend too!

I've never stayed in Alligator Bayou, but have been in the mansions twice (once with a corner room ) and loved it !

They say summer is coming to CT too....should be in the 90's by Wednesday ......

I worked hard today. Now I'm tired, but it's a good tired. Amy's room is still a disaster, so no HP.

Tomorrow we go to the orthodontist early. I may not make it to the riddle at all. Amy should be getting her braces off in the next couple of months. She's excited that it might be tomorrow. I told her not to get her hopes up. She says, "Too late!"

I'm off to beddie-bye. I'll check back tomorrow.

well, the packings pretty much done, poor hubbie has to live amongst boxes for 2 weeks till he comes to scotland

think it's hand over day with my boss today which will at least get me motivated to do something! my heads too full of the move home......no room for work

well earned night out tonight with the girls which should be fun

SB - we stayed at PO FQ for honeymoon and walked over to riverside, it looked lovely
