Steph~That is such sad news Last week our town lost a boy that was a year younger than the twins....Megan knew him......he was riding a Jet Ski in FL & there was some kind of accident....they have found the jet ski but have now given up the search for the boy...he was only in 8th grade..... Last year about this same time his father passed away.....that poor family needs lots of good thoughts & prayers

So Sandi, now that you are done with work for a while do you have something else to keep you busy?

Sarah heard a story from her friend that makes you wonder what some people are thinking. This girl used to live across the street from us. She and Sarah were good friends. Then her parents divorced and the mom moved to DE and took this girl and her sisters. The dad is such a nice guy but the mom is something else. So this girl used her own $200 to buy her prom dress, another $200 for tickets for her date and herself, and $125 for her share of the limo. A week before the prom, 7 days, Mom tells the girl she can't go. Apparently mom doesn't like this boyfriend so just said she couldn't go. I was livid when I heard this. She will remember for the rest of her life how her mother didn't let her go to prom. What was that woman thinking?!

Lars, I used your idea and changed my tag.

So enough of these downers. It's the weekend. YAY!

I'm home and emotionally drained. It's a long story so I won't bore you. Let's just say the next few days are going to be rough.

Donna, how exciting about the baby. The basket sounds wonderful.

David's marching try-out was today. He got a loud round of applause and the drum majors had trouble finding anything to criticize. The junior drum major said it was excellent. Now he has to conduct on Tuesday. We're not sure when the actual election is going to be held, but I expect it to be Tuesday. I thought of Sarah when David said he was running.

I'm off to read my email that has been piling up all day. Later.

Just wanted to share the shower news! It turned out great...she was so surprised....she cried so hard and made the rest of us all cry too! She even cried when she opened all of her presents and she kept saying "I dont even know what to do with this!" We kept telling her she would figure it out eventually........it was just a very rewarding night! Thanks for all of the ideas and good wishes!

Morning here... feeling a bit shakey and not so good. We wound up with four guys spending the night here The bad thing is I had a ton of grease on my food very late last night and I stupidly drank a little bit of a mixed drink that has alcohol no nos in it... well you can guess what happened. It's been almost 10 years since I have been sick, so this has my body all shakey today.

Sandi, graduation is June 12 and Sarah's birthday is May 30. We are having the party May 31. I am going to order most of the food -- deli platter, barbecue, sheet cake. I have started getting the paper products, chips, soda. I will be a mess next week. I don't entertain well.

Thanks all... I feel okay, very sleepy though (obviously didn't sleep well last night). At least I don't "feel sick" you know? I think I'm going to avoid that place we ate at for a while... I've noticed my stomach is "touchy" to grease more than it used to be... seems when I cut it out of my diet more, I have a harder time dealing with it.
