Yesterday we took our field trip to the zoo...poured rain for the first 1/2 hour we were there, then it just stayed damp and cold. And I found out that we were 1 of 350 bus loads of kids at the zoo. So you can just imagine how crowded and out of controlo it was. We only had a little over 2 hours before we had to leave, so needless to say we didnt get to see much. Between bathroom breaks (4 I think), lunch (30 minutes) and general kindergarten behavior it made for a long 2 hours, LOL.

Today my mother is treating us and the mini-beast to a day at Kiddieland. Sam heard that Radio Disney is supposed to be there today and keeps pouting he wants to go. He has no clue that we are going, he only knows he is spending the day with Annie. We had the tripped planned before I found out about Radio Disney, but it is a great perk.

Tomorrow is either going to be Shrek 2 or the Mickey statues on State Street. Mickey is at Marshal FIeld's today, but I really dont want ot deal with the crowds for the opening day festivities.

I think that is about it from here. Cross you fingers we dont see anymore rain....the past couple days have been bead. I heard there was a tornado spotted about a mile from my house last night, but I havent found any confirmation on that.

Ok, off to get ready for our day. Have a good weekend

Well, I wasn't around much yesterday because of my parties (one turned into two). We had a great turn out for G's birthday 20 of the 30 guests arrived and we had a blast!!! DH made an appearance for lunch and brought me 2 dozen beautiful long stem red roses in a pretty arrangement, I was totally surprised!! Most of my guests had left by 4 o’clock but my sister and her 2 and my best friend and her 2 hung around because the Jupiter jump people who were supposed to pick up at 3:30 didn't show up. So, they played and played my parents came back over (my mom even jumped)and I grilled hamburgers and we had some margarita's(jimmy buffet played in the background) then some time about 9 the jump people showed up as we were cleaning up, all in all an a perfect day!

DH is working late tonight so prolly no big plans for the Anniversary but after yesterday and our trip I'm very blessed and I don't care one bit. However, in honor of my special day I'm not lifting one finger around this house!! LOL it will keep until tomorrow!

Carol, I remember how nervous I was organizing BB's graduation party! We can be nervous together this week!!

I'm back from picking up my dress!!

E, we got the sun too! But I am just waiting to see the forecast for next Saturday. I'm nervous that it's going to rain.
There just seems no end to it!!

*Any Angels in the area of Station Square next Saturday, this is your official invite to stop in for Dessert. The chocolate starts flowing at 1:30 and will flow until 3:15!!* Then we move on to Wedding Cake and homemade cookies! Yum!

Brendan won both of his soccer games today. They won the first one 15-0! I felt bad for the other team. Some games our kids are sluggish too. Had to give both kids a bath when we got home since the field was a major swamp. Shannon got the bright idea to take her shoes and socks off.

DH and I are going to Philadelphia tonight for his 25th Optometry School reunion. Fancy dinner dance thing. I do have a new black cocktail dress top wear. It should be a nice evening.

I am going out to plant some tomato plants then my little garden is complete.

No big anniversary/birthday plans here today either......DH worked this morning & tonight DS has a hockey game in Lansing (40 mins away)
Tomorrow is the end of the school year band concert at the high school. MIL is making dinner afterwards...according to Meg who talked to her, MIL is feeling guilty for not only not doing anything for DH's birthday, but for forgetting it completely

Yes, the emotional roller coaster has EVERYTHING to do with my mom and her bf. She's going to be fine, but she's pretty down right now. He likes all of us and wants to stay friends. Somehow that kind of makes it harder. But he's moving from Norman to Oklahoma City today and she's helping him. She's a bigger person than I am. He's acted like a donkey these past few days. We may go over this evening and see if we can cheer her up a little.

my parents just called they are cooking us steaks and have offered to have g spend the night if we want to go to a grown up movie.

I dunno if she realizes it but that means she will have to go to church early!! hee hee (i'll get to sleep in) one is much faster to get ready than two (sometimes twice).

So there I was getting ready to wallpaper the dining room when I noticed some of the chair rail was damaged. Uh, oh. This is going to take a long time to fix. I won’t be able to DIS and the Angels will think I’m mad at them about something. Well, it needed to get done. So as I’m pulling it off the wall….BAM! Hits me right in the head and knocks me out cold. When I came to, things just didn’t seem right. So I said to myself, “Let me check the DIS boards.”

When I logged on everything was…”different”. I was no longer in NJ. I was now 7 hours by car from Pittsburgh! I didn’t have one PM from anybody. And there was no more Loubon Fan club! It was now the Cubsfan Fan Club! I didn’t know what happened. So I went to check the DIS Yearbook, (page 161 to be specific), where I had just put a picture of The Loubon Fan Club. It too was changed to The Cubsfan Fan Club. I was living a nightmare. The Angels had really DISed me this time. So I went out to find a new home.

First I stopped at the Homeless DISers. Sorry, I’m not living in a box even if it is on Main Street.

Then I went to the Resort Board to find my old friends the S&D Sorority. No luck there. They were stuck in a chat room somewhere going from room to room. It looked like an old Marx Bros. movie.

Then I went to Tagliarchy Island. All the colors there made me nauseous and I really didn’t want to stay somewhere I couldn’t pronounce.

I skipped the Ya Ya’s since I had called them Yo Yo’s one too many times and didn’t think that would work.

I tried all of the heartthrob and reality threads from Orlando Bloom to American Idol. Realized the only Orlando I liked was in FL and the only Fantasia I knew had Sorcerer Mickey in it so that wouldn’t work.

Thought about the Single DISers thread but realized the only married DISer who was welcomed there was Dan Murphy.

I finally went to the Disney Chique Clique but realized it was pms er I mean PMs from a group of women that got me in this mess in the first place.

I had to get back to the Angels and the only way was to reverse what had happened. So I asked my wife to smack me again with the chair rail (since Steph was in NH). To my surprise, she gladly obliged.

So even though things are not quite back to the way they were before, I did realize that this is the place I belong.

We're home....we're cold and tired....but we have another baseball win to celebrate!!!!


Matt's team started the season in last place...and kept that honor for the first 2 weeks. Now, with just 5 games left in the regular season they're tied for second place!!!

Lew's dad is still in the hospital but doing well. His mom is also OK at home alone. It was a busy day for Lew shuttling between his parents and sports for the kids. I had a productive day at work too because the class went well and we covered a lot.

Time to crash and tomorrow we get to stay home!!!!!

Well Kiddieland was a hit. It rained a lot on the way there, but it thankfully stopped and decided to go ahead and give it a try. We were some of the only people to dare going today, so the park was practically empty with no lines for any of the rides.
Kiddieland has been here for 75 years. Its basically a small amusement park with very kid friendly rides and a handful of bigger rides. But kids can go on 99% of them.
The kids had a blast, although that second spin on the Tilt A Whirl almost did me in The kids even got Lou and I to ride one of the water rides. Of course Lou and I ended up in the wet seat (literally) and the kids stayed dry. It was this thing with rubber rafts where they send you down a pitch black tunnel only to drop into water at the end. All the water ends up in the boat and the heaviest person ends up sitting in the water. Not fun to walk around for another hour in wet denim.

Good night! We just got back from the Pirate game. They won 3 to 1.

The kids spent all day in the pool. They got in at 9:30 and played all day with their friends until 5. They put sunblock on a few times but still got sunburned on their backs.

Hi all... very pathetic catch up here...

I went bowling (got a strike a nd a few pares!!!) and then to a friend's for dinner. I was on a bread/salt "diet" today and feel fine... just very tired due to lack of sleep. I figure it had to be the greasey frood from last night. I hope I can make my way back there again

Today was better. Mom helped him get settled in his new apartment. We were over there tonight and he was in and out. It'd almost be easier if it was a clean break, but he wants to stay friends. That's hard to do when you've been together for almost two years. She thought he was the man she'd spend the rest of her life with. She's low, but better than yesterday. I say who needs him if he acts this way?

Glad Lew's dad is doing okay. Congrat's to Matt's team.

Hope you had fun at the movies Star.

I saw a chocolate fountain on tv today and made my whole family look. It looked beyond yummy! And I'll be praying for loads of sunshine for the big day.

Lou, I'll be glad to smack you with a chair rail the next time you need it. Sounds like a good way to take out frustrations. Glad you're back. I still love you.
