Good morning everyone.

The reunion was nice last night. DH enjoyed it. It is always hard being the spouse at these things and not knowing many people.

Today we go to church for recognition of seniors who are crucifers or in youth chorale, which sings. Then back to Philly for a reunion brunch. Back home for a church youth fellowship family cookout. Doesn't look like I'll have much time to get ready for my party next week.

Gail, congrats to Matt on his teams performance.

Bethany, sounds like a fun day.

Lou, what an ordeal. I am glad you are ok.

We didn't get home from the hockey game til pretty late last night.....I have good news & bad news on the hockey subject.......bad news is that they lost ....good news is that the season is over:thewave: YAY! No more hockey til the end of August:thewave:


The band concert starts at 2 this afternoon then dinner with the inlaws so I'll be in & out today...........

EB just has a few things to do on her North Dakota project but Matt has to construct a 3-D edible eyeball!

3-D edible eyeball? That sounds gross!!! Does it have to be the whole eye or is it supposed to be cut in half so you can see the inside of it? How about making a ball of Rice Krispie treats and using other cereals and/or candy to make up the parts?

Gail: what if you made a cupcake and frosted it and used either grapes (green eyes) or that leather fruit snack stuff (I think they have blue?) and you can use chocolate icing for eyelashes, etc.

Good morning y'all.

Here is a rare Sunday morning post from me. Mrs. AA and Lela are at church while Abigail and I are at home.

Mrs. AA is singing in both services, but she is distracted by the fact that:

1. Abigail has had a runny nose and eyes for a week and has a bad nosebleed this morning
2. Her loving husband has been dealing with a kidney stone that has just been traveling back and forth for a few months and had to take pain medicine for it last night
3. Someone moved the table we've had setup in a hallway at church. It is registration for a marriage conference and we are the church contacts for it.

So now the worried blind chick has got to worry about her family, the song, and rounding up a table this morning

This woman will be stressed....

So I'm washing sheets (nosebleed) and catching up on y'all's activities while Abigail watches Song of the South in the living room. (Her choice!)

Well, we made it to church but Sarah has not been feeling well for several weeks and is not doing well today. So, DH went to his reunion and I am home with the kids. They are his friends so it isn't too much of a problem. I just wish we could get Sarah feeling better.

Alan, hope you and Abigail are feeling better too. Want to join our sick room?

Lars, it is always nice to have an activity over for a while. Too bad he didn't go off on a win.

Gail, what about using jello and making it jiggler strength or stronger. Use an olive for the pupil. Did you google this assignment?

OMG, I LOOOOVE Russel's. The one up here in ROlling Meadows just isnt the same as Elmwood Park. We used to all go there after Saturday night Mass at St. Cyprian's. Bribing us with Russel's was the only way my mom could get us to go to church, LOL.


Today's plan involves going out for breakfast (ok, so it will be noon by then), Shrek 2 and depending on the weather we may head downtown to see the Mickey statues. Again, Sam has no clue what our plan is. I hate telling what we are going to do in case ythe weather disagrees with us. He can be very hard to console if he is looking forward to somethign and the plan falls through. Plus I get kick out of surprising him with very cool things I love to see and hear his excitement when he is surprised.

E - you still have not seen Shrek? it is such a great movie. thought about you last night - DH and I were watching LOTR II. Can't wait until Tuesday to buy the 3rd one. Target has it for $14.99.

Tried to catch up some, but short on time. Nick's allergies are HORRIBLE today. I finally called the Dr and he called in a perscription for eye drops. The OTC ones were not working at all. I guess I need to check all the air filters and see if they need changed and try to get the dust out of the air. He has been confined inside all day and it is driving him (and me) crazy!
Well back to work on getting the house clean and dust free!

Elaine, I went to see Troy last night and man was it long BUT whoa the eye candy was worth it. Brad Pitt is just hot! The DH had to tell me to put my tongue back in my mouth lol

I'm thinking I might go see shreck II on wednesday after our weekly outing to the roller rink. It's really great on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 they have a free skate for 2 bucks. You can bring strollers for babies, scooters, roller blades and those lil sit and scooch cars. The kids love it and as a bonus for me they mainly play disney songs. I haven't been skating cuz i was preggers but this week watch out I'm gonna pretend I'm in xanadu.

Using your hands, roll a roughly eye-sized sphere of cream cheese and set it on a cracker. Dip a piece of white thread in red food coloring and press it across the ball a few times to create bloodshot veins. Press on a slice of olive and - voila! - it's done

Loraine, Sarah hasn't been feeling well since the end of April. I spoke to her doctor on the phone the beginning of May and we finally went in May 13. After lots of lab work, turns out she has a urinary tract infection. A week of Amoxicillan and she was no better so another urine test and she is now on Bactrim. Still feeling sick. She is having trouble keeping food down and can't eat. This has been going on during AP exams, prom, and soon her graduation party. I just want her to feel better. Except for the urine, all the other tests came back normal.

Star, Sarah is waiting to see Troy too.
