No clue about how to make an edible eyeball. Some of the ideas here sounded promising, but gross. I'd google if these won't work.

Hi all! Went to see Troy today... good movie if you like action movies. I realize I love epic type of tales and it sure didn't seem like it was almost 3 hours long!!

Lorraine, nope, haven't seen Shrek. There was a reason for it, and I said I might rent it some day but not watch in the theatre. Never did get around to renting it though. I can't wait for LOTR: ROTK to come out either. I just picked up the TE releases of the other two in Widescreen. That way when it comes out on the 25th, I will have the other two along side of it. I will also get the Extended Edition come November

Carolyn, I hope the script eye drops help. My allergies have been awful since the cotton wood has been floating around.

LOL, Star, I just read your post about Troy. I thought it could have been longer really But yes, good eye candy, although my eyes were on Orlando Bloom more than Brad Pitt. But for an over 40 year old man, he has one amazing looking body!

Carol, so sorry about Sarah not feeling well like that. I do hope that she can kick it soon.

Hot one here today. Didn't feel like planting my flowers or much of anything else. Kids were in the neighbors pool all day. Went looking for bathing suits at the mall, but got depressed that they all looked the same - trying to find something w/ the shorts instead of the skimpy bottoms. Will try to get motivated tomorrow to do stuff outside.

We enjoyed Shrek 2 this afternoon. Afterwards, we ate at PF Changs - delicious!

I haven't worn my contacts for the past few days. It must be allergies. I should check into eye drops also.

Well, I knew it........

My FIL will absolutely NOT fly! So we are probably still driving.
Although Dan thinks I should fly down with his mother....he offered to drive down with his dad.......He had the nerve to say that he thought I would be totally miserable the whole way down in the car!!!! Like I would say to his dad the whole way....well we could have been there 14 hours ago if you had flown.................(well, I might THINK it but I would never SAY it!)

So much for that great idea!! sigh!


We went to see Shrek today also and we all loved it.
It was really really funny! Almost better than the first.....and I loved Puss In Boots..................(yes, Lou, the CAT!)

We went to the Youth Group family cook-out tonight. DS has friends there. The weather was great and it was an enjoyable evening.

I tried to watch Reversible Errors but couldn't get into it. Off to bed soon.

Lorraine, I was discouraged with bathing suits this year as well. The bottom wasn't quite as problematic for me as the tops were... they didn't fit no matter what size I tried. I don't like one pieces and it is impossible to find a decent two piece. Fortunately I don't *need* a new suit, but sometimes I just like getting them

LK, I just was introduced to PF Changs on Thursday. Very good place!!!!

Donna, just get him a ticket, drug him up and by the time the plane arrives the drugs will have worn off I think you ought to say it as well I'm evil, what can I say. Honestly I would take Dan up on it and fly down with out him and your FIL. THat way the rest of you can have a good time a day earlier

Shrek 2 was pretty good...although I do want to see it again and not sit in the second row. My neck still hurts from craning to see it. I know i missed a lot of the detail

We did make it downtown to see the statues. There were supposed to be 15, but we only saw 14 of them. The Tom Hanks one was MIA....I know we walked right past the spot where it was supposed ot be.

The statues are just on the sidewalk, a lot more vulnerable then they were at WDW. I have a felling there are going to be seriously damaged by the time this tour ends. Already the flag was broken on the Notre Dam / Regis Philbin one

They are pretty cool looking and smaller than I expected. I am uploading the pics now. It will probably be a while before they are done. Ill post a link in the morning.

Allergy problems here as well. Hope everyone feels better soon. I hate cottonwood trees. They really do a number on me. And to top it off we got up to 97 today. It was steamy outdoors. We could sure use some of that rain you guys keep talking about.

Star, Ray IS Santa. I never did hear what happened to that baby, but that thread caused a bunch of us to take up a collection to buy him a digital camera and printer so he could continue this ministry. Made me feel like Santa too. My "baby" did great. He made a miraculous recovery and is now healthy as a horse.

I'm going to get ready for bed. I'm yawning as I type. I'll check back tomorrow, but probably not in the morning. Mom shares a rental storage unit with ex-BF. We want to get all her stuff out so that ASAP she can break ties with him. She found out that while they were dating he had memberships at online dating services, searching for someone better. He's a donkey. She deserves better. Anyway, we are going to dig through the stuff in the AM before it gets so hot. Sounds like fun? Not really.

Hi everyone--Alright get up off of the floor your right its Mary Jo. Sorry that I haven't posted anything but as you know my huband had back surgery and it has kept me very very busy!! He couldn't do a thing~but we are on the road to recovery !! Yeah!!!

I did receive my package from LK~it came at a good time~really cheered me up that day. Loved what I got:

2 bears for my DD which they loved thanks!!
toy train engine -put it right in my curio cabinet--my DH loved that collects just about everything
card stock paper
alphabet stickers all for my new craze scrapbooking!
picture frame
table cloth weights--I LOVE these. That was such a good idea I bought them for my exchange. I will especially use these at the pool this summer.

Thanks again LK really loved my stuff!! And I'm sorry I haven't posted this (Sandi once again saved me) I thought I did but it must of been in my sleep.
