Andrea's Wish Trip - June 8-13

Well her appointment is done. The overall appointment went well. Her left ventricle is still impaired but did improve slightly. We praise God that it did improve and didn't get worse. Her doctor increased the dosage of one of her meds. and hopes this will continue to help her. He will now send all the test results along with a letter to her heart surgeon in Ann Arbor,MI. We do know that the conduit in her heart needs to changed and this may also help her left ventricle pumping function.

So now we are in limbo until the heart surgeon decides what the next step is going to be. More than likely we will be having a heart surgery in July or August. We should know more in about a month. If we don't hear from her cardiologist by the time we get home from our Disney trip then we need to call them.

So as you can see we didn't really get any new information or answers.

Now we need to just concentrate on our upcoming trip and make it Magical for her.

Thanks for letting us to keep an eye out for your pkg. I told Andrea that there is one on the way and she said "Mom, I have been really patient haven't I?" I told her she is doing great in the patience area at his time.

She is so funny sometimes, especially with all she is going through.

She received a pkg today from Wendy. I can't wait until she gets home from school to watch her open it. I don't know who is more excited me or her.

Our Wish coordinator called this morning and wondered if we would like to change our days at GKTW. We we staying June 8-12 now we are going to be staying at GKTW June 7- 11. Now we can get our tickets and go to orientation Sunday night. So now I need to rethink our plans. Time to look at the planner Maroo sent me and see what we should do which day.

Our dog's name is Maggie, she is a lazy sweetheart who loves to give kisses. Andrea loved watching your doggie doing tricks. She so loves dogs.

Here are some pictures from the generous April. Matt loved the shirts. He was so excited he got a package. Andrea was a little upset, but got over it quickly and was happy for her big brother.

I have washed them and they did shrink a little, anyways he likes his shirts bigger rather than being too tight. He really likes them so thanks for offering the transfer, but he doesn't need it.

Andrea looks great in her chip and dale!!! I am shipping out a package tomorrow! My 5yo, Sydni, made something especially for Andrea! I hope she likes it!
