Andrea's Wish Trip - June 8-13

Well we received a couple of packages yesterday from Cajunfan. My neighbor guy is jealous, because I have been getting my mail hand delivered the last couple of days.

Well I had to wait until the kids got home from school.

the kids are loving all the gift - thanks to all who have given us items the kids are thoroughly enjoying them.

I started doing this post last night but then the internet explorer crashed and was busy today. So I am finally going to add the pictures of the items sent by Cajunfan.

Wow! Look at all that stuff!!! I love the towel. It looks HUGE! I am always looking for big towels to make towel pants with!

I love getting my mail hand delivered! I have my mail lady pick up alot of my packages and she tends to bring me my mail. Now when I have to walk to the mailbox to get it it feels weird! I had become spoiled!

I forgot to include a couple of pictures. Also wanted to mention that we received our 2009 Wish Trip T-shirts for the family. They look great. I haven't gotten a picture of those yet.

Cajunfan the t-shirt is a little big on Matt it will look better once they are washed. I will wash one and then see. If it is still too big I will exchange the other one.

Andrea received another package today this one was from Mindy and Sydni. What an adorable outfit thanks Mindy. Tell Sydni that she loved her pictures and stories from her.

Well I will post more pictures later. I am having a problem getting some transferred.

Tell Sydni she did a great job on the pictures and story and that Andrea really liked it.

Thank you! Maybe some day I'll make it to the outlet! I saw online the towels were 2/$12. We so don't need more but I love buying them all! I love to make towel pants but hate to cut into the towels!

Hi All,

We got three packages today. Thanks to Maroo, Mickey Mouse/Holmes, and Heather.

Andrea and I received a pretty braclet each from Maroo. Here is a picture of both and then of Andrea wearing hers. Thanks Maroo for the beautiful braclets they are great.

Then in the next package the kids received Autograph books: The kids really loved them and can't wait to fill them with Character signatures. Thanks Mickey Mouse/Holmes.

Last package was from Heather. Matt received a Kingdom Heart shirt. Heather he loves it, he was pretending to swing a keyblade in his picture. He will wear this often.

Well we received our package on Friday it had some gifts for Andrea and it had our Make A Wish T-shirts in it. We also got our itenary. The limo is picking us up at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 7. My dh is not happy about this, but he will probably sleep in the limo and plane. Our plane takes off at 6:30 a.m.

I have started to get some things packed. Man, Andrea has a lot of clothes, I may have to take a outfit or two out. Question: How did your family pack? Did each of you use a carry on, did you check bags? With the new airline rules we are trying to figure out our luggage plans.

I doesn't look like we will be getting a send off party. Oh, well we have a busy week next week anyway. The kids last week of school and all their events.

We can't believe how quickly the days are going away. One week and a day.

I usually fly SouthWest, so I am not sure how different it will be different for whichever airline you use. We usually have a backpack each, that has a change of clothes, basic toiletries(In out quart ziploc bag) and things like phones and chargers, ipod, etc. that we normally have carryon. With SWA we can check two bags each for free, so we take advantage of that and check everything. It makes traveling so much easier. But this may not work for your family,

Your trip is coming so fast. I bet you all are getting very excited. We also fly Southwest (even this wish trip) so I also don't have an answer about luggage. When we travel we always take alot of carryon though. We have to take a stroller and carseat, games for the plane, clothes meds and everything you think you will not live w/o if your luggage should get lost. It ends up being more than you think so all of us usually fill our own carry-on bag. I like the backpack idea. Maybe you could put all the light stuff in one and have one of the kids carry it.

Well our trip is almost here- WOW!! Can not believe how fast its approaching. Well I am taking a quick break from packing to check out some trip reports for more tips and ideas.

I would like to thank you all for the advice and tips you have given my family. I would also like to thank everyone for the Big Give Gifts my kids and I appreciated them all. I will take pics of them wearing them down in Florida.

I will be checking a few more times and will sign off tomorrow evening.

We are all so excited and can't wait to get to Disney..

Well yesterday was an interesting day. My mom who is coming with us had issues with Vertigo yesterday and some this morning. Please pray that this will clear up. I lost a filling late last night. Luckily my dentist was able to fix it this morning.

Well we got two more Big Give Pkgs. today wow what a suprise this was.
