i heart the mouse, sounds like things have fallen into place with your resorts! I know it was hard to give up the RPC, but a Poly/YC CL split is perfect. We were at the Poly last NYE, it is the perfect place to see the fireworks from! AND, I am so looking forward to meeting you!

There is a train near me that goes from Grapevine, TX to the Stockyars in Fort Worth, TX. Every year, at this time of year, they do a Polar Express thing. It's so cute. I used to read it to my DSs every Christmas Eve. I never made it through the last page without tearing up so bad, I could barely finish it. The only thing I hate about my DSs being the age they are, is that they know the truth.

I am back at work today, still not feeling 100%, but I think if I just don't eat, I will be ok...

I slept from 1-4 yesterday afternoon, but then had to get the girls and bring DD6 to gymnastics....DH had late flights last night and couldn't get home.

Then I slept from 9:30 to 6:30 this morning. Still achy, but...what are you gonna do???

The good news is that I have no energy to do any RC's!

Haha, your hex did not keep me down for long. Actually it was more like as soon as I got the DSs off to school, I laid down for "an hour nap" that turned into me not getting up until around noon. Then I had my Farmville 2 farm to deal with and pesky school work.

Bree is OK, strep throat. Yucks ran through the hough all week, but she has had a fever and that lovely croupy cough so i brought her in, glad I did!

I hope she gets better soon. Our oldest had that, and kept having it until he got his tonsils/adnoids removed. Our doctor told us that kids could get it, be on anitbiotics, get better, and then get it again. With Joey, the antibiotics didn't work, and they tried several. He had it straight for several months before he had surgery.

You are a genius!! I thought we would have to buy the kits they sell, if we do end up at the BC/YC. Since we are driving, we can just bring our own. Hmmm, we could even have a couple of bag of special "adult" mashmallows and dip them in Chambord before going down for the roast. I'm told it's really good.

I told my DH last night that he had to buy a lottery ticket for tonights Powerball. That way, if we win, it will solve my RC'ing problem. We can just stay at each of the resort I'm thinking of staying at for several nights each.

Awwww... Fireman Santas. They don't do it out here. I grew up having to wait outside in the cold, not caring because we were brimming with anticipation at the approaching sirens and then watching wide-eyed as the decorated ladder trucks go by with Santa waving from the back. Hubs got to watch it with me a couple of times before my parents moved out of my childhood home. Sad that Miss M won't get to see it. I wonder if it tends to be an east coast tradition? Oh, who's cutting onions around here...
