~And It All Started With a Wish...and a Quarter and a Fountain~TR link, page 32!

Your October plans look really great Dawn! I really agree about skipping EMH if you don't plan to stay for those hours anyway. They always draw more crowds.

Seth is seriously so adorable. He's really getting to be such a big boy! :) He is going to love Disney!

Thanks! I can't wait to get him there! :goodvibes

Your plans sound like so much fun! Yall are eating at some delicious places! YUM! :goodvibes

Seth is getting so big! Oh my goodness! He's absolutely precious, Dawn!

Can't wait for the foooooooood! Thanks. :)

Too cute Dawn! He's getting so big! I can't believe he's already 9 months old! Where did the time go??

Seriously!!!! :upsidedow

Looks good, Dawn! Awesome update with all the pics and vids!

Thanks! :)

Wow! I can't believe how big both Seth AND Luke are getting! Time flies! :guilty:

WCC will be a great way to end your trip!

They are both getting so big. Luke is such a little man now!

I would have had to stop shopping just to stand there and kiss on those sweet little cheeks for a minute.

It's fun to hear about your planning and re-planning as the trip draws nearer. :thumbsup2 I look forward to seeing a picture of Seth by the Wilderness Lodge bubbling fountain.

What's funny is that he was awake when we were unloading the shopping cart. Then I stopped watching him to take care of the payment and Ray was helping the bag boy get our cart loaded, and we both looked over at him and he was like this. So funny! And sweet. :goodvibes

We will definitely get a picture of him by that fountain....where it all began (sort of)!

such cute pictures of your wonderful son!! love looking at them and reading your comments about them! Though I dont post much, I had to today since I could just feel all the love you have for you beautiful son!!:goodvibes

Awwww....thanks so much! :)

I think your new plans sound great! Your trip just keeps getting closer and closer, it will be here before you know it!

Cute pictures of Seth, I love the one of him asleep in the grocery cart, too funny!

30 inches! Way to go! Two more and he can ride the Speedway!

Seriously! I can't believe we're almost 3 months away! I don't think he'll be doing the speedway *this* trip, but perhaps next? We shall see!

So I'm REALLY starting to get excited about our trip! Not that I wasn't before, but now that we're closing in on 3 months it seems like it's really real now. It's been so long (for me) since we've been there....December 2008! I'm so excited to go back to my favorite place in the world with my favorite 2 people in the world! :cloud9:

So to help feed my excitement, I'm gonna try to do some updates of details of each day, just sort of laying out what I know we want to accomplish/see/do and where/what we'll be eating/drinking.

Let the photobucket searching begin!!!! :lmao:

Myself, Anna, Seth and Luke will *hopefully* leave around 3:00 on Thursday afternoon. Realistically speaking, probably more like 4:00. I can't wait until we see this!!!

It will probably look very much like that, too, considering we won't be getting to Orlando until around midnight.

I imagine we'll be seeing a good bit of this on the way, although it will be Seth in a car seat and Luke sleeping in the back seat....

DSC07986.jpg

Then we'll check in here for the next 3 nights!

We'll (hopefully) hit the hay as soon as we get there, sleep in as much as our boys will let us, then get up, grab some breakfast at the food court and head to........

I don't have a huge amount on my must-do list here now that Seth is the big factor in my trip planning, plus we probably won't get to the park until like 10:00 or 11:00 b/c I don't think we're going to take an afternoon break today (he will sleep in his stroller....trust me), but these are definites!

I couldn't find a picture of this but I do think I want to take him on the little train that goes out to Conservation Station and Rafiki's Planet Watch so he can see the hands-on stuff there. And I'm sure Anna and I (and possibly Luke) will take turns on this.....

Lunch will most likely be here....

And we will hopefully catch this in the late afternoon....

ZEBRA DOMES!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMG_0190.jpg

My favorites that I can't wait to try again were the chicken pepperpot soup, zebra domes and upside down pineapple cheesecake. :dance3:

After dinner we have to make a quick pitstop by the Wide World of Sports Complex so I can pick up my 5K packet, then it's back to Pop for a good night's sleep. Big day for me the next morning!!!! :cool2:

Wow, all these pics has me excited for your trip and I'm not even going!

I wish I could eat one of those zebra domes right now!!

Your first day plans look awesome, you are getting soooo close! :yay:

I love Boma. I could seriously just fill up on soups, zebra domes and the upside-down pineapple cheesecakes. I could definitely go for the desserts right now

I'll have to try Boma for dinner one of these days, it looks really good. If it's as good as the breakfast buffet I've had there, I'll be happy! I can't believe it's been so long since you've been to WDW! I remember your last trip got a little sidetracked - in a good way :goodvibes

Your first day plans look awesome. We love, love love Boma! The picture of the zebra domes makes me wish I could just reach through my screen and pluck one off the plate so I can eat it!

Great plans for the first day! I've only eaten at Boma once, back in 2004, when I stayed at AKL, but I have never tried the Zebra domes :o I know....It's a must do on my next trip! One neat place that you might want to take Seth would be the boneyard! My brother and I went when he was about seth's age, and he loved it!

Firts Day looks good. I hope we can cross paths sometime while we are both there.

Now that we're inside of 4 months from the trip (:woohoo:) I'm really starting to get into planning mode. I'm starting a list of things I'll need for the trip - I always do this but this time my list is much different....never had diapers on there before! :rotfl:

So, to all you Dissers out there that been to WDW with a baby, what am I forgetting??? List anything you can think of that may be unique or something you don't think I'd think about and I'll consider adding it to my list.

Hmmm I went to Disney with my DS12 when he was 2. I think the most important thing for him was extra clothes. I do like the idea that someone posted about the diaper packs you can do those in ziploc bags and just take that ziploc. Throw away first year cups are a cool idea too. My DS had a sippy cup that I washed with soap and water at the hotel at night. If he had milk it was from a cup and straw. They didn't have those throw away cups when he was little. I'm sure Seth will do fine. I would bring little snacks for him though, Cherrios etc whatever he likes and have those for when he's waiting for his meal.

Oh I forgot to post about your most recent posts. Luke is getting so big! Seth is too! I love that picture of him in the swing. It looks like he's eye balling you :rotfl2:

I think Boma might be on my list of to eat list next time. That plate looked yummy. Do they have things there that are kid friendly? My kids will be DS15, DS13 and DD9 when we go next time in 2015. So far away but I'm planning it in my head. Doing the cruise and 4-5 days at WDW. Is it too far to plan in my head LOL

Will do specific responses later but....

3 MONTHS TODAY WE WILL BE LEAVING FOR DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

I love the soups and salads there AND the desserts. Everything else is great too but those are the highlights for me.

Love the desserts at Boma! They are so super yummy!

Yes they sure are!

It's so super yummy! I've heard Boma's breakfast is a lot like Tusker House and if that's true I think it's very good too.

Seth is just adorable. I love the picture of him at your desk. Too cute. :)

Your first day sounds great. We  Boma!

Thanks! Can't wait for Boma!

You aren't the only one....love them!

Yep, I thought about the bone yard. It just depends on how mobile he is. If he's walking we'll definitely to there. If not, we'll have to see how mama feels about getting down in the dirt with him!

Hey Dawn! Just wanted to let you know I started a TR! Come on over when you get the time.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2746719

Hope all is well! Seth is getting so bigggg!! :goodvibes

I need to come over there and catch up. I subbed but I've been awful about keeping up with anything but a 10-month-old lately! :rotfl:

Firts Day looks good. I hope we can cross paths sometime while we are both there.

Me too! :)

Yeah, we will be bringing most of his meals anyway b/c I won't be ordering him a meal. At buffets I can just get him a small plate of stuff he can have, but at places where we order I'll bring an actual meal for him.

Oh I forgot to post about your most recent posts. Luke is getting so big! Seth is too! I love that picture of him in the swing. It looks like he's eye balling you :rotfl2:

Yes! They had lots of kid friendly stuff. I believe they had a separate bar that was designated for the kids (though anyone could eat off any of the buffet bars) and it had stuff like mac and cheese, chicken tenders, pizza, etc. And no, not to far away to plan in your head! I totally get it. ;)

That means mine is even closer I think.....so I'll dance with you!:dancer::dancer::dancer:

:woohoo:

3 months will be here before you know it! I can't wait to see pictures of Seth in WDW. Will you stroll him in the 5k?

I'm planning on it! I registered to run in the stroller division but they told me if for some reason I don't think he'll do well in the stroller for the race then I can just run without him and I'd only lose $5. I'm hoping by that time I'll be comfortable running with him in the stroller. I'm training right now (starting week 6 of Couch to 5K on Monday) but I've got to get used to pushing him on top of running.

Hurray for three months!!! :dance3:

How did Seth enjoy the 4th Of July?pixiedust:

He did awesome! I'm doing an update now so see below. :)
